Great team structure!

My advice would be to get in Barlow over Trengove....and save some cash!
Hille is very risky...but he can be a nice little investment!

I prefer team 1 so i will review team 1:

Backs: Nice setup with some guns and some value. You may want to change Kenelly to Ladson depending on the rest of the pre-season. Moniter Grade 9/10

Mids: Your 3 guns are the same guns i have in my team. Martin is a good selection, but IMO i would go for Barlow instead of Trengrove, you can you the 50k extra elsewhere. Also you may want to get a sub for Mcveigh or for a little extra you could put in mastern. Either way thats your choice Grade 7.5/10

Rucks: Hille IMO will justify his selection in the coming rounds. Clark with ONLY do well if he is forced to be following the ball and being a ruck. If charman/Leuberger is in he will more that likely sit in the forward line. If this is the case put Sandi it. Grade 8/10

Forward: Roo,Buddy,O keefe are fine. I would swap Higgins for Gia, pocket the extra cash. Downgrade Stevie j to a midpricer in Ziebell,Mehurst,Mayne etc and upgrade Rockliff. If you want stick rockliff on the bench and replace him. IMO your forwards need the most work. With some hard work your team will be good Grade 6.5/10

Really liking the setup of that team so far. Ottens is going to be the obvious one that most point out, but I see him as a mid price upgrade target who can clearly out perform his price. If he can string together 7-10 games in a row should rise in price nicely. If he remains uninjured, will be the bargain of the rucks.

I think you may need to stengthen your ruck you have a very risky choice in Ottens and Kreuzer isn't in the same level as a Cox or Sandi who can pick up your score. I'm not sure that Delidio is the way to go either I think you should downgrade him for cooney and maybe upgrade hall to gray as he would proide more stability to your forward other wise it's a good team.

Change trengove to lobbe and then change davis to trengove, more Value. Also consider trading trengrove(mid) to Banner and using the money upgrade one of your forward as it's your weakest area. IMO
Interesting you have gone 4 gun and 2 rookie in your mid though. Good team.

quite frankly this team is very average.Firstly there is no point in having anyone over 105k on the bench it is a waste on cash.
Backs i think there are better options for the same price for doughty and brown. and im not to keen on waters i would upgrade to hunt.
midfiled- is way way to cheap higgins is not a good pickup especialy in the midfield and neither is rich beacuse he wont improve much and beams will not play regulary enough. masten martin and selwood are all fine but u need more premiunims in the mifield at very least 1 more 400 + player
Rucks are bad, krezur has shown very little change to tippet and natanui is a bad pickup downgrade him to macavoy or white.
Foward you need to downgrade some players get rid of porplezia and lecrades and raplace them with 220k-235k fowards. this should give you along with downgrading your bench players enough cash to have some decent midfieldsers

quite frankly this team is very average.Firstly there is no point in having anyone over 105k on the bench it is a waste on cash. If you are looking for solid bench options who are going to play regularly/make cash, you're gonna have to look further than $105 000.

Backs i think there are better options for the same price for doughty and brown. and im not to keen on waters i would upgrade to hunt. Both players have their deficiencies. Waters scored 51 last week when he played very poorly. Today he was named amongst the bests, suggesting that his Dream Team score will be a lot higher. Waters is just as good as pick as Hunt. I must concede however that this is obviously just your opinion on the matter, and there is no right or wrong.

Agree re Higgins but Beams is firmly entrenched in Collingwoods best 22.

TBH, I'm not really following your opinions Spoony. Some of them are just not true.

you dont need to pay more than 105k when looking for solid bench options there a enough options below that to have a decent bench which will increase in price, the only exeception i would make though is for the backline where rookie options are scarce.

i disagree on waters hunt is a better option but like you say that is just an opinion

I am a collingwood supporter and Beams is not entrenhed in the pies best 22 he will be like last year compeating with several players for the same spot and with the indroduction of ball who is a certin starter and buckley who will add more competion he is far from certin, at the moment sidebottom is proberly ahead of him anyway, but the reality is beams will play reguarly only if someone gets injured, he will most likely drift in and out of the side depending on the oppositiona and his form.

Macevoy and white are both better options than natanui (I predict that both will be simialr to tippet last year and score incosistant but be good enough to be an upgrade) and while they are not the best replacements for him they along with ledenburger the best options without upgrading him.
