he has probably coached to his potential. 8 to 6th. to make that step to top 4 is probably not within his capabilities. They've gone from 7th to 7th to 6th to possibly 11th with one of the best midfields in the competition.
I have a hunch he's gone.

needing to win to get in the 8, against an expansion team with 13 players out and little to play for and that happens. ouch
Worsfold is very much the boiler-plate of what a coach should be. Very little carry-on, the odd wry backhander at the presser, and most importantly, no promises he can't keep.
I think Choco has as much chance of going back to Port than coaching Carlton. Can't see Malthouse doing it.
I reckon Eade might get the gig, he doesn't seem too enthused about Port.
On the market is also Harvey, where does he rate?
Harvey will never be a senior coach again, the bloke is damaged goods, and I don't think he has what it takes to deliver a flag.I think Choco has as much chance of going back to Port than coaching Carlton. Can't see Malthouse doing it.

Like+++I hear Matthew Knights has got the vfl cats flying and is now a very good coach. Maybe carlton should look at him.
Ratten has a stupid look about him, like some sort of a rodent hybrid.
Nah, he looks like he needs to be Lando Calrissian's co-pilotRatten has a stupid look about him, like some sort of a rodent hybrid.
I doubt many other coaches would be able to give our playing group a rocket. A football club filled with far too many mentally fragile, up-themselves wannabe's.
I have no doubt there are "intelligent" people on the Carlton board who think sacking Ratten will solve all our problems. But that's the easy option, and one which I doubt will lead to much by itself.
What - like half way through 2010 when he said there was no possible way WC would win the wooden spoon?

Unfortunately he will be sacked. Perhaps Matty Knights should be looked at for the gig. From all i've read lately he seems to be a premiership coach in waiting.Hope he gets another contract. Would hate to see a good coach going Carlton.
