I think it goes back years and amounts to general Collingwood hatered.

It's a dead set joke mate. If our guys cop fines like that for our part in the 'Melee', then Fevola should be rubbed out for 2 weeks!

While I do not like the Afl tribunal system I dont think there is any bias in it at all. To suggest we get a raw deal in the Afl s just crazy IMO. Yu have to take the good with the bad. Didak got off when many thought he would go while holland coped many more than some thought. what goes around comes around.

As for the AFL in general we get looked after as well as anyone. you just need to look at our draw for that. We should be one of the last clubs to complain about the afl IMO.

As for the fines it is a set system for the amount of offences. This is a stupid system. Fines should be based on a % of match payments IMO . Someone like fev or didak gets a fine for 3k and it is little more than loose change. Someone like toovey or thomas young may be fined the same amount for the same offence. who has the bigger penalty?? very unfair IMO

I thought they got what was coming. Where the concern is that when someone like Goodes approaches a player from behind and fells him, there is absolutely no anything! The risk is, that like Carcella last year, that playing the man and not the ball receives no punishment. Fev is an ape that had his tail snapped off and was taught to stand upright, but at least he was punished for what he did, what about lovechild Goodes or Notting? The Raw deal is across the board. Imagine the Swans without Goodes? AFL didn't like the idea of that did they?

Yeah, Coventry wasn't in it, or Lee. Plugga at FF, big deal, Coventry kicked 111 Goals in finals alone, talk about a big game player, and the 2 duds who never played in a single premiership between them (Lockett and Ablett) were put in as forwards? Imagine how good Coventry was to play that long in a smaller comp with fewer rounds, crappier surfaces, lower aggregate scores and in a team of champs were the ball proably wasn't kicked to him every time. Still I love the way the rest of the comp hate Collingwood that much they can't even see that The Club sets trends, we don't follow them.

Mchale had a heap better win rate over more games at 65% vs 56%. 17 GF appearances alone, for 8 wins compared to Smith with 8 appearances for 6 wins. He coached in 27 finals series over 38 years as coach, compared to Smith who coached 12 Finals series over 22 years that he coached. Smith even coached a wooden spoon team (Swans=72), Mchale never did. How embarassing for the AFL. Full of PR spin like everything else they touch.

Both Coventrys should of been in the bloody team of the century. Albert Collier, Bob Rose, JOCK, Silvagni was a stupid decision that they couldn't of made at the time "ohh look he plays on Lockett and Dunstall" so bloody what, Regan played on players just as good such as Pratt, Vallence, Moloney all AFL hall of fame members. Regan was the first full back who was actually also interested in getting tha ball and very skilled, not just a scrappy stopper. Played for Victoria 14 times (which would be just as good as Silvagni's 5 AAs) and was named champion of the colony. Syd Coventry should be made a legend of the hall of fame.

That's what go me started on this. Because in the footy record last Saturday, Carlton had 5 players named in the VFL/AFL Team of the Centuryon their club page and I was reminded by my Carlton mate that we had none. He knows we were snubbed.

IMO this team was derived from an anti Collingwood AFL, lead by Ian Collins at the time.
