Rd 1 Tips & Crowd Predictions.

The Roosters just ******** me off, they seem to lack passion!

It will come; they have plenty of youngsters who show great promise. Now all they need is for Crowe and Holmes A Court (am I allowed to talk about this in here?) to take up ownership over the administrational part of the club to inject much needed funds, to be competitive in signing the marquee players. Loved the manner they finished the season and played in the Charity Shield this year

It was a good peformance in the Charity Shield which was needed to give the fans something to rally behind. The Rorters fans can be equated to any group of bandwagoneers. They have a small inner circle of desparate fans but a lot of fly by nighters who would only go along if they had nothing else to do and it was on at the footy stadium.

It will be interesting to see if the Crowe/Holmes a Court proposal gets up. I know a couple of Souths Football Club members who are convinced it will be a good thing for Souths.

I think both the NRL and AFL will get some impetus from the A-League grand final. People just want to see THEIR code and increased crowd numbers will reflect that.

Storm Ericsson Stadium Sun 2.00pm - 12,000

Broncos V
Cowboys Suncorp Stadium Sun 2.00pm - 37,000

Rabbitohs V
Roosters Telstra Stadium Sun 2.30pm - 26,000

My predicitions were wrong

Great round for crowds... YET all three games at Telstra stadium produced really disappointing crowds!!! Do Penrith and Roosters supporters travel at all???? YOu guys are up there with the Sharks for the worst supportered away team in Sydney!!

What were the official crowds anyway? The NRL website is not user friendly.

I noticed people overestimated the StadAust games, but underestimeated the 'suburban' ground matches. Maybe the NRL should take note of that.

Souths at StadAust is going to get very ugly, very quickly should they underperform again.
