Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?
Are either of them athletic enough to go with Naughton? It wouldn's surprise me to see Wilkie on him for large parts of the game.Don’t mind the matchs up of Naughty on Howard and Frawley on Bruce

Fun fact: We've won every first quarter this year

Saints up by 5 points with 20 seconds left. Weightman marks near the boundary line, banana, and bang. Would be fantastic

LOL I like Wallis but he ain’t running up and down the ground like Roarke, sometimes you need role players not kick chasersThis is because you're judging him in the context of his previous performances. Because he didn't make any glaring errors, you perceive it as "playing well", when in reality, 13 disposals and not being particularly damaging is still very much mediocre for a player in a team that's meant to be contending. That isn't even getting to the fact that he did nothing in the VFL to earn selection in the first place, and that he has no business being in the team ahead of Mitch Wallis.
Roarke Smith has been on the list for 6 years, and has never been anything other than an average player.
Yep I wouldIn junktime?
What if Naughton did his knee crashing a pack in the last 5 minutes of a game we were 40+ points up in? Would you still say he was right to keep crashing packs? In scenarios like that, players often tend to drop their work-rate and jog around to avoid risking injury, which is basic common sense.
I reckon if I have to explain it then it’s not likely you will acknowledge anyway but he played his role that he was asked which was primarily defensive pressureCan I ask what he did to play well?
Didn’t run the game out so was a liability in that last qtrI was hoping to see Buku again.
I thought he played as well as a first gamer could.
Not at Roarkes pace he cantThere's a long list of VFL players who could do that and more at AFL level.
Mitch Wallis is more than capable of all that. He's also shown he can be a high disposal winner in midfield, and a very solid medium forward. He's also actually performing well at VFL level.
JohnG actually played a decent 2nd one as well but not much after thatJohn Georgiades begs to differ - hopefully Buku hasn’t reached his zenith though

Big concerns for me, they've brought in McKernan as the 2nd ruck.
Can I ask what he did to play well?
Obviously Mitch's dad... or mum...
I know it’s a joke but Steve Wallis is a great clubman and all round good bloke.
Yes, they are. Both Steve and Sue are Bulldog Royalty and the nicest people to boot.
