Anyone else think Huddo's voice just does not at all match his appearance? By far my favourite commentator these days. I cringe when I hear McAveney's voice at the start of a broadcast knowing that we're going to have to listen to two hours of

Me too...has always been my favorite by a long shot.....and if you didn't know he was a Cat, you'd never guess....thats what I like the most, so unbiased and gets excited about ANY team, if they are doing something pretty good at the time..

I'm excited by how good our stoppage work was. They weren't just the 'piss-ant, get it to the wing' clearances, they were the 'find space through the corridor and open up the whole forward 50' clearances. Rich and Golby did this especially well.

It was good but we must remember that West Coast are quite a poor clearance side. If we can break even against a good clearance side I'll start to get excited.

This may sound crazy but I'd personally keep the same 22 and keep the onus on them to perform. If any doesn't perform in the next game, drop them for Simon Black.

I think I am right in saying that the Hawks have been going in with 2 tall forwards only (noting that Gunston's been named on an extended bench this week). If Gunston doesn't play then there doesn't appear to be a match up for McKeever.

Even Gunston might not be a great match up for McKeever. Gunston's more of a leading forward and would probably be a bit too smart for McKeever. Lester might be a better matchup.

I know we'll get a preview in the next few days, but I'm already getting headaches thinking about that Hawthorn forwardline. Patfull on Franklin and Maguire on Roughead looks problematic, to me. We'll really have to win our fair share in the midfield if we don't want to get belted.
