I get the feeling we want to give Collard a chance to play in his home state. Ross seems very intent on putting his arm around him more than others.

I know this goes against Boxshall being dropped, but I think his personality would treat that differently to Lance.

Would love Lance to get on the end of a few. 1 or 2 goals a game is more than enough and he has the talent.

I’m hoping that Travalgia gets a full game to showcase his running and ground coverage. I reckon he should just try and play within himself a bit when hitting up targets, just play conservative until he has more experience and then he can start to chew off riskier kicks.

I'm hoping he can become our version of Isaac Smith. His jnr highlights show him following up every possession he dishes off. He's a similar height, but maybe not as quick?

We could have got Tomlinson for nothing along with turning down a few like Houston and that Ruckman with the fake plastic girlfriend.
What it shows is that we're only interested in the right players at the right price, and failing that we put games into kids.
Yes it sux when we have seniors out injured because we only have kids as depth but that's kind of the point.
I don't like losing either, but they've been consistent on their youth policy and are following through doing the hard yards.

Just watched it for the first time. That just looked like he was a bit flat with the news of his mentor passing away. He still seemed like he was engaged and just wrapped it up quickly. Coaches do that every PC.

Yeah he's a hard nut who tries hard so he's very likeable. Just a bit too short I reckon, if he was 195cm he'd be the perfect replacement for Doogs but at 188cm and not quick I just don't know what his position is at AFL level.
