Lots of positives. Loved Clarke, Lisle and Mayes. Couldn't handle the pressure as well and lacked class.

Mayes is a beautiful kick of the footy, he has great decision making skills and he is so composed!

Clarke is a real beauty as well. You can tell he is learning every single game he plays!

Have been really impressed by lesters development as an on baller a couple of times today he broke a tackle and got free, he also seems to hold himself up well in tackle and release the handpass, good game

it was annoying how when he broke away from a pack he bombed it long or palmed it off doesnt really back his speed

Adcock doing his usual long bomb into a pack dominated by the opposition.

gee the way some of these small defenders are coming on adcock may not find a spot in the team especially with the way he keeps turning the ball over

Still not convinced 100% on Lester. He has no 2nd gear which is evident when chasing, always looks like he's about to drop dead from exhaustion. I hope that means the GPS readings are super high.

And he is slow from hand to foot and usually his disposals are all wobbly due to the ball drop.

Handy player not sure if he can make the next step that we need though

Can somebody fill me in what was the reasoning behind Blacky being subbed

basic skill errors....arrgghhhh, it want due to pressure, just basic stuff, I know he wasnt the only one, Pattfull in the 2nd half had some shockers.

Was really impressed by yeo today, I have been a bit on the fence with him, but showed some great signs, one run in particular out of defence where he put the after burners on and finished it off with a great kick, good stuff.

He looked absolutely buggered to me.

Docherty hasn't impressed me in any of his games to date.

Don't quite get the hype to be honest for someone drafted so highly.

Easily well down the pecking order behind the likes of Yeo, Golby and Harwood. Not just tonight, but those 3 have each impressed throughout the season.

His pace isn't good, but his inside work is great. Was watching him closely today, got the handball out from contests and really imposed himself. Did a commendable job with a mistake here and there. He'll get there.

McKeever is learning... how to have free kicks paid against him on a consistent basis In all seriousness I was seriously disappointed with McKeever today. For what he lacks in footy skill he is meant to make up for in athletic ability but all I saw today was a frustrated, clumsy footballer who applied zero pressure, constantly missed tackles, pushed his opponent in the back and shopwed zero awareness. Should not be in the senior side.

I have to disagree with you there Dylan. He hasn't had a chance to play a full game and is the 1st choice for the substitute for some reason. I thought he was pretty good in the last quarter, coming on and having an impact straightaway.

I'm happy with the result, I think they were a 3 goal better team, we got our hands on it at least. They are a legit top 4 team, we are missing our bookends and had 4 players coming back from injury. we show all the signs of team on the rise.

- our disposal is a disgrace.
- I would be happy if Mckeever never pulls on a lions jumper again.
- loved rich of half back.
- lisles game today highlights my frustration about him being left out last game, he and corny should have worked together with brown out just to see what's on offer. He was good today.
- Mayes is the best kid (first few games) we have had since rich and black before that, big call but I think it's true, Clarke will play 200 games.
- the umpiring was a little frustrating but ok, again - we gave away more silly frees, golby a serial offender.

did people see the footage of mark Harvey and voss arguing, it looked like mark had put together the game plan with his dockers knowledge and Voss was looking him saying "this isn't working mark, what next?" mark looked calm for the most part.

we should give the cats a good shake next week.

I think voss will be coaching us next year.

Considering his first game was round one 2011 and this was his 22nd senior game, I'm also looking for a greater signs of improvement - he is regularly not on the same page as others... then again Zac Dawson played his 22nd game in his 5th and first year with the saints. Sometimes the waiting game is a long wait.

I asked for effort, and I got it.

Keeping with a top 4 team for 3 quarters isn't anything to sneeze at, and it's something to build on for next week against Geelong.

I really enjoyed Patersons though, a very nice ground even if it was a little purple.
