TBH i'm happy for our player not to be as reckless with their health as Selwood.
I, like most people I know, used to be very harsh on guys who didn't commit 100% , 100% of the time, but I'm much more lenient now.
I'd rather guys play out the game rather than risk serious injury.
I agree. Look at Brayshaw and his concussions - don't know how Selwood doesn't get concussed every week? In fact, I'm still surprised how injury-free Selwood's career has been to date? Love the bravery, but you also have to play smart - as you said, we prefer players who can play out the game, and it is a long, hard season.
