Hey everyone. Been reading the forum for a few days now and thought I would join in!! Have read over a few of the threads as well!!
Quick question, Has anyone heard any news on Acorn and his shoulder? I have seen a few people touch on it and not really seen a reply and nothing on the website so wanted to see other peoples thoughts...
In the dying minutes when he crunched down hard he seemed to look like dislocating his shoulder. My Fiance and I were at the game and watched him the whole time after it as he got up but looked like he was unable to lift his arm and it was hanging limp down beside him. When he was walked off by the trainers he still couldn't lift it, it was dangling down beside him like a break or dislocation.
He managed to get up and stand the mark and run for a bit but you could see something clearly wrong so not sure of what is going on there. And if it was a dislocate\break he is one tough SOB as others seem to stay down in those circumstances...
The website hasn't listed anything (Shame about Retz too!!!
) so be interesting to see if he is listed in the squad this weekend or not!!! I am a massive fan of Acorn and think he will be a key forward for us so hoping he sticks around and this isn't too serious!
Anyway my 2c
Huddo has been a saviour with the injuries and still raw Longer, Zorko an inspiration and our youngins (Polec, Green, etc etc) all coming along nicely. Looking forward to the next few years and the light that has finally coming at the end of the tunnel
Maguire for AA this year pls lol
