Yeah, I don’t trust this side away from home or against better than average opposition.

Hopefully today is the day they regain that trust a bit.

Sydney are average this year but if Heeney Warner and Blakey start having a nice time running around unopposed the couch pillow is being thrown onto the floor and I’ll walk off muttering.

Boy looking forward to seeing Smith run out with team in Sydney while Nank Edwards,Dowling,Taylor etc etc have kick to kick aor marks up at West Lakes parklands.
Only positive Murphy there , so might give them some secrets how to get in team.
Win or lose least get to look forward to Nicks inspiring after match interview .
Ok be positive we might see RT have a day out .

If Freo were to lose to the Suns up there today, we'd have the chance to go 2 games and massive % clear of 9th.

Tonight is important for that reason, and also to take advantage of an ailing Sydney side who've had the wood over us for years.

I still think we are too tall on that small deck, but confident enough to say we'll win by 4-5 goals.

Sydney weather looks like perfect footy weather. It seems ages since we last had good conditions to play in?

Side note...
Sunset in Sydney today 4.56pm!!!!
Oh why do people live there?

"Crows to end the Swan's season with emphatic 10 goal win."

Living in Newcastle since 2000, I remember the good old days when we dominated these South Melbourne “relocates”
I think they were as lost in Sydney as the visiting teams. Strange sized oval and stranger supporters.
Times have changed with some help from the AFL.
It's my first trip down the M1 for many years. So looking forward to some live Crows domination.
All things being equal ....we win!!...But not holding my breath as we are up against the AFL and their bloody umpires.

The ONLY thing that will stop us from winning this is Matthew Nicks

Had this as a Swans win in my predictor but have tipped us due to Swans injury list and we've not really played bad enough away to get beaten by this team today. And I reckon playing tall is exeposed less on a smaller ground. Much more an issue on a big deck.
I dunno, I reckon the space weve got on the other grounds has helped space the talls out.

I can see them getting in each other's way

Depends on if we can maintain structure and keep our talls away from each other. Much easier to get sucked into the same marking contest in a compressed field.

I think it will be a close win or a close loss (similar to the 7.5 points line on Sportsbet).

The key will be breaking even at stoppages and attacking through the corridor. It is a wide ground and teams can get lost playing along the boundaryline.

Sydney have been all over the place this year with good wins over Freo in Freo and GWS at the SCG. Their poor games (like Melbourne last week) have been very poor.

They have been inconsistent, but we haven't. I'm pretty confident we win this given the injury lists variation. A full strength Swans would be a good matchup, but I reckon we win this without the result ever being in serious doubt. Might only be 2-3 goals, but I doubt we'll be nervously screaming at the TV.

I don't think we've got any trouble with the 3 talls keeping out of exh others way. ROB pushing ahead of the ball is a different story though.
