It seemed to me that when we lost the momentum we started to panic and our structures fell apart. Players lost confidence in knowing what their team mates were going to do, and as has been mentioned the bad habits crept in. I don't think we went backwards as such, but rather we went off track a bit.
On Lester, I agree with POBT. Across the competition the big bodied midfielders (eg. Pendlebury, Watson, Kennedy, Judd) are proving to be extremely effective. Lester is not in the same class but I think he has a good all round game. His first game in the middle was against West Coast, which coincided with the side starting to be a bit more competitive. I think having that bigger body in there helps the other mids, and makes him a tantalising prospect if he can develop his game. He is still very young and inexperienced so I am hopeful that he is nowhere near his peak.
