Don't understand why they throw the ball up for every 6-6-6 indiscretion.

Really simple

The 6-6-6 indiscretion is one infringement at a centre bounce

If they still bounced the ball and the umpire ****ed it up with a poor bounce which needed to be recalled, that would be a second indiscretion and further delay

So by throwing it up after the first indiscretion they eliminate the chance of a second indiscretion

Assuming we then don't drop a game when only gaining 1.5...

Not a lot to take out of that. Tuohy and Stewart were excellent, Higgins was good, we were easily the better side across most of the field but the amount of scores we conceded relative to inside 50s was a bit ordinary
