To think had they paid the blatant and obvious free kicks to Phillips, Wright, Gibbs, Silvagni and Casboult all in the fourth we'd have won by 2+ goals. Similar free kicks paid consistently to this year's peptide warriors.

Would love to see Sydney explain how Heeney (for one among a great many) is twice as big this year as he was last year when he was already competing in local bodybuilding contests.

Can blame umps a little...3 free kicks in forward 50 missed...Alirs arm blending into Phillips jumper, high hit from Grundy to Wright, and Cas being pulled...

Next week lets spray paint our players arms wees and poohs colours so we can hold our opponents jumpers and not get pinged.

We won 3 out of 4 quarters and ****** lost...

The team was there trying hard at the end. Fantastic effort and unlucky to not snatch a draw or win. The boys can proudly hold their heads up high.

Anyway, bitching over bad umpiring calls aside, it was an absolutely fantastic fight by the boys. Pressure, tackling, team work. Just lacking some class and that extra bit of talent/development.

That and Casboult was woeful. A half decent tall in his place today and we'd win.

Great signs yet again...in terms of youngsters Docherty, Cripps, Weitering, C Curnow & SOS all did good things.

Buckley, Graham & Boek could have done more, but still they contributed and showed glimpses.

Simpson, E Curnow & Gibbs amazing games.

Absolutely robbed of a result. Hometown decisions. Kruezer tackled by Jack's slipstream in the third. Phillips was tackled by Allir Allir in a marking contest and nothing given.

great effort. pressure was good and we tried to take the game on at every opportunity. running in numbers and support was good.

ball use is still a major issue. like our defence. plowman docherty simpson were very good. weitering looks hurt. rest him

gibbs bog for me and its great to see cripps back to near his best over last 2 weeks

forward line was too easily covered. with charlie & silvagni up there casboult needs to have a physical impact.

overall cant complain but major list changes still required

Put a bit more midfield class in the team (eg Murphy & Prestia) with a maturing forward line in C Curnow, SOS & McKay (no Casboult) and we will be a good team.

3 different games of footy today.

First half we went free range, 3rd we swayed in the rigging, last Quarter we had them them by the throat, just couldn't land that killer blow.

That's enough footy cliches....., anyhoo, top effort.

We need goal kickers and marking targets. So many non potent entries inside 50.

But that will come when Silvangi, McKay and Curnow all mature.

Really impressed with Gibbs, Cripps, Simpson and Docherty. Almost every week these boys are named. Also thought Phillips, Boekhurst, Wright, Sumner and Plowman had really good days out.
