The crows should be livid with their "captain" Walker who would have been a very important part of their team this week against a team averaging 60 ish points against the past month.

I reckon the crows Should win. With that said, they will need to be in their very best form to beat us. We're playing 4 quarters every week and our KPFs know how to mark and score. They're a scary proposition and that's even without Cameron.

After watching "On the Couch" and its repeated replay of the incident where Walker was suspended for a pitiful 1 week, he can consider himself extremely fortunate. Roos said that it was the single worst decision under the new penalties regime. Ran past the ball, had eyes only for the Geelong defender, jumped and collected him head high, serious concussion.

I can totally agree- bloody hopeless. Christian should sack himself.

What is it about these two simple concepts he doesn't understand:
Intentional - done on purpose; deliberate
Careless - not giving sufficient thought or attention; not concerned or worried about.
You can understand why Adelaide didn't challenge.

Roos was spot on. The current penalty regime is a joke. They apply 80% based on outcome, 20% based on intent. It should be the other way around... the outcome of the incident is largely luck.

From this we can assume:
- if Harris wasn't a KO from Cameron's hit, Cameron would only have got a week.
- if Tuohy had been KO'd, Tex would be up before the tribunal tonight in the same class as Cameron in the media, and have got 4-5.
- you can bet Nyhuis will get 3 weeks tonight because Robbie Gray was KO, but if Gray had stood up after the tackle Nyhuis wouldn't even have a case to answer.

Edit: Nyhuis got 3 weeks as expected!

Sure you agree?

from our board:

Compare to Burton running a hundred metres & taking out Higgins, who took no further part in the game & got off.

That was a far worse decision Roos you tosser!

and

How the **** does Roos get 3+ games? Even if you argue it’s intentional he gets 2 games based on medium impact and high contact.

Would it really hurt these guys to do some basic research on what they’re paid to discuss?

Dodongo and a few others that Dodongo doesn't remember were saying earlier in the year Harris should be tried up forward. Dodongo hopes that is what Fagan is thinking, especially with Walker being solid down back. Dodongo thinks that will be easier to Harris to adapt to the game again as Harris Andrew's confidence has probably taken a hit as well so playing up forward will be easier for him to get back to AFL level again and then play down back next year. If you are reading this Fagan, then Dodongo wants to say that you are a legend and Dodongo wouldn't mind a stint in the coaches box for a game.

I can't wait for the Dodongo press conferences post-match, rephrasing EVERY journo question into a third-person narrative response

Hope the Crows come ready t

Cox out for Hodge and Walker for Andrews if fit (Not sure he will be though). Walker has played his role well the last few weeks but he's not usual best 22 just yet.

Gotta have Walker in there when we take on the Cats. If he keeps up his form (and the team too for that matter), him and Christensen will be licking their lips.

I expect a slow clap, standing ovation from all those in attendance at Kardinia Park as he steps onto the field with his new, majestic flowing locks of hair

I clearly have no life ATM so was just cruising the crow's board and one of their supporters has posted the mccluggage highlight reel from last weekend to help make the point that we have a kick arse midfield.

That feels bloody good.

We will win this game if our players heads are in the right place.

We have them well covered at both ends of the ground and we should at least break even in the midfield.

They have a lot to play for but we have the home ground advantage and we should attact a good crowd.

Lions by 21.

In the mix: round 18
Adelaide
Get them in:
Key defender Daniel Talia is in doubt for Saturday night's clash with Brisbane at the Gabba with a fractured shin, while forward Mitch McGovern (ankle) is a chance for his first game since round eight. If McGovern can't get up, then Darcy Fogarty will likely be recalled, in place of suspended skipper Taylor Walker.

Under the pump: There's no need to make unforced changes after last Thursday night's 15-point win against Geelong. Alex Keath or Kyle Hartigan will make way for Talia if he returns.

Medical room:Talia appears unlikely with a small crack in his fibula, while McGovern is a good chance. Richard Douglas(ankle) is another week away.

Verdict: Just the one change – McGovern for Walker.

Brisbane
Get them in:
Some good form in the NEAFL with a win over Sydney Uni, led by young midfielder Ben Keays and veteran Ryan Bastinac. Might be hard to force a spot in the seniors though.

Under the pump: After a brilliant team performance against the Hawks the only man who might be sweating is Cedric Cox, who was a late inclusion for Luke Hodge.

Medical room: Hodge will have his calf tested but is expected to be fine. More testing for concussed vice-captain Harris Andrews this week, but the club won't rush his return.

Verdict: If it isn't broken, don't fix it, right? Well, not quite. Expect Hodge to come back in if he overcomes his niggle at the expense of Cox, but otherwise, no changes.
