Have struggled all year with QLD.
I think it is incredibly unlikely that they make the big dance.

the flag will be Richmond's and the league will be poorer for it because it will reinforce their intercept, punt return, swam style of play.

The game is not in a hole, it is in a gaping f***ing chasm. It is aesthetically disgusting, while it is tactically morphing into other sports and at the same time it is abandoning the fundamental skills that made the game what it was.

I do have to chuckle at our countrymen over in the western fishbowl.

They are actually running the line that they are an "injury depleted" outfit this evening.........and with a straight face.
Weren't they building a wall or something? Or tearing along the perforated line seeking detachment?

they have some issues and it is why its pretty doubtful that they completely blow us off the park.

Unless we have some out of nowhere hallelujah performance they'll have us covered comfortably. They can't make up the % so 1 point or 150 points makes no difference to them. I'd think their mantra would be get through it and don't get hurt.

I have penned a little something in honor of their momentous "backs to the wall" fighting spirit.

Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the twenty two.
“Forward, the Eagles!
Charge for the guns!” he said.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the twenty two.

“Forward, the Eagles!
Was there a man dismayed?
Not though the soldier knew
Someone had blundered.
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the twenty two.

Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them
Cannon in front of them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of hell
Rode the twenty two.

Flashed all their sabres bare,
Flashed as they turned in air
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army, while
All the world wondered.
Plunged in the battery-smoke
Right through the line they broke;
Cossack and Russian
Reeled from the sabre stroke
Shattered and sundered.
Then they rode back, but not
Not the twenty two.

Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon behind them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
While horse and hero fell.
They that had fought so well
Came through the jaws of Death,
Back from the mouth of hell,
All that was left of them,
Left of twenty two.

When can their glory fade?
O the wild charge they made!
All the world wondered.
Honour the charge they made!
Honour the Eagles,
Noble twenty two!
