Whoever coaches us in 2022 is another story but a full 10 of our players out there today are not up to finals standard (and probably never will be) and that was me being optimistic. Face it people, and stop living in a dream world.

This is just proof positive that we can't have both Walsh and Cripps together at centre bounces together: we just get exploited.

Fisher was a tactical cul de sac, and Cottrell, Newman, and Newnes - despite effort and/or application - really are just capable of blowing up various collective team efforts at any given moment.

Fisher needs to go back to the VFL and get serious about his forward craft, Cottrell needs to develop his awareness and offensive game, while the other two need to go back to the VFL until they're absolutely needed.
