Id probably see the changes as this:
Mayes in for Cutler (if suspended)
Hodge in for Lester (think Lester has played well but Hodge is probably the more important player for us). Hodge could come in for Cox but worry about our speed if that happens.
Andrews in for McStay/O/Walker unfair on all 3 of them but we are already a tall team and Harris is a def in if fit.
If Cutler isnt suspended I would look at someone in for Cox. Mayes or Allison. I dont think Cox is doing enough in ones at the moment but I worry that we would be too slow with both Cutler and him out.

I generally dont want to make too many changes but at the same time think on the narrow ground against Geelong we would want a few senior bodies in the team

The thinner ground will be a real test of our skills

Yeah i think so. It seemed evident against the crows they guarded that short inside kick really well and stifled our ability to play quickly through the middle. Presume a skinnier ground will make it even tougher on us to play that way.

It will be interesting to see which way we go....first option may be to switch & shift the defense or still try and hit the short inside kick initially to play through the middle.

I think it’s all about ball use in this game, with the narrower surface down there, I am not sure speed is a necessity, just need good ball users and that may be where Cox could come in handy if he can get his hands on the ball that is. I like the idea of Cox further up the ground and hopefully delivering the ball on the chest of Hippy and McStay.
A taller set up will also come in handy down there.

A few posters on the cats blog were questioning the cats ability to defend against going through the centre. Would think with a thinner ground it would be easier
