Until that last 10 minutes, Murphy had been on the pine for almost 40% of the time he was active in the match.

Newnes had defensive work to do this week, and he cocked up so much of it. That said, can't fault him on covering ground or trying to contribute.
He's a weird one Newnes. I actually feel like the balance is overall positive, he does a lot of good stuff that largely goes unnoticed. His bad stuff however, is noticed.

Good kicking but more due to where we were kicking them from. No long bombs to the pockets or shots from 40+ out wide. Hitting up leads and kicking from in front makes it easy. Also some good transition from back to front and goaling on the run.

Yes this! Quality of shots was much higher.

I don’t really like bagging players these days.

But man, the difference between Cottell and O’Brien on the wing is pretty significant.

Stoked for LOB. Had enough space tonight to show his poise and polish.
Cottrell gets the ball and teammates should start running back to cover the turnover.....O'Brien gets the ball and they should all be thinking 'here we go'

Exactly. High pressure is difficult to sustain but brings everyone into the game when it is on. Lots of contributes. Love Fish around the ball.
I thought fish was poor with his disposal and decision making but is better around the ball. Got a fair few centre clearances. Just got to tidy up disposal and more importantly decision making

Rest of his career he will have ice on the knee.
