To be honest percentage doesn't mean a hell of a lot. We aren't making the gap up to Adelaide, the other relevant teams won't make the gap up to us, Brisbane have a draw (% irrelevant) and shuffling with Collingwood likely still ends with us playing them at the G.

We have made up 6 % of 12 % tonight and we have essendon, port at home, richmond to come. We absolutely should be making up the gap to Adelaide if we play our best. But that's a big if as we didn't play our best tonight.

Yes we need to show more killer instinct. Our % is below Adelaide’s and comparable to Collingwoods, we will be competing for positions in the top 4 with those two teams.

A handful of contenders have been worse against North and other bottom teams. It really, really doesn't mean anything when your opposition roll over and the game becomes a pisstake.

If we miss a position, I hope people don't rue not belting up on an insipid side more. Rather, I'd hope they point out how we were completely listless against good sides like Brisbane and GWS, or how about dropping games to Carlton and St. Kilda early in the year? Those are the games you take regrets away from, not 100+ point thrashings.
