and this is why i support the lions. club has so much heart, before the game started i knew we would produce this kind of performances but was so shattered with the end result. seriously something needs to be done with the umpiring. watching the replay it looked like lester could have taken 1-2 extra steps and had a much better shot at goal but obviously the pressure of the situation has to be taken into play.

anyways bring on next year!!

ps - lisle needs to play a full season next year. his marking has gone up a level.

I'd be Disappointed if we had won the Game and Carlton had won also BUT I'd so happy that they the Lions beat the Cats once again. Look we aren't quite ready for Finals footy yet to be honest. If we are gonna make the finals in the future We will do it Legitimately and hopefully finish higher than 8th. Imagine the Crap we would cop if we were the "default" ( The were only here because the Bombers got kicked out) team. Now Carltons gonna cop it for years.

Judging by todays effort, I reckon we were ready for finals. We almost (should of) accomplished the hardest thing to do in footy, beat Geelong at home. If we can do that, we can do anything

We are almost there but wouldn't you rather the Lion get into the finals by themselves and it actually been legit? Rather than been simply put into the finals to make up the Numbers because Essendon got kicked out???? I'd rather the first option Just imagine how much crap Carlton is gonna cop for being there by default!! Don't worry we will be there soon and its gonna feel so good. At the Moment we are probably a C+ grade side with the top 4 teams been A Grade teams and the bottom 4 of the top 8 been B Grade sides. The bottom 4 teams would be D Grade and E Grade sides We have a very bright future ahead.
