I would say so. Who from the Weagles would be a virtual monty to break into this team in the next month?

Great preparation for finals for both teams, Hawks getting games against their two strongest contenders and WCE getting what will be a finals like game at the MCG. Cant wait.

If you are referring to us, i'm truly flattered :hearts:

Please essondon do us this favour. Win.

Please Geelong beat Sydney so that we play Adelaide week 1, win, have a week off, a home prelim and a grand final to attend.

I saw Essendon live last Friday night and they were woeful. If Carlton had played them last week Ratts would still have a job. Collingwood will murder them.
I know i don't know what's happened to them. They are a rabble. Im hoping they lift freo like for their rival.

So this is the weekend where we finally feel the affects of that Brisbane game biting us on the arse...

While frustrating, what's done is done. If we're not good enough to beat teams like Hawthorn at the business end of the season, we're not good enough to win the flag yet, no matter what other results we've had through the year.

I think every team up the top has a game or two that "bites them in the arse", it's footy. If teams won every game they were expected to the game wouldn't be what it is.

Saying that though, I know what you mean and it really was one that we should have won; no one will deny that. Looking at it on the day, not just on paper, we should have put them away. But again we have snatched a couple of lucky games in there too, which could have easily gone the other way.

Anyway, let's just beat Hawthorn and then we don't have to take a second glance at any other results this weekend. We are fortunate that out fate is in our own hands and if we do what we know we can tomorrow night, we will finish top four.

I think the issue with the Brisbane game is that, on all available evidence, we did win....

Yep.

And a lucky barrel that he wouldn't hit again if he kicked another 50 of them.
