Expected a crows response, but to give up a 25 point lead in a quarter just isn’t good enough. So frustrating to see us give away soft goals, yet we couldn’t seem to get boot to ball in our forward line.

Opportunity slipped in that quarter. When you're the away team and you're up by 4 goals, you don't just stop and meekly give up the lead.
In this 3rd quarter we need to respond, otherwise we could be in real trouble for the remainder of this game.
That free kick to Rankine was an absolute disgrace....

Great umpiring for the crows.

How good is dropyourfeetling. I remember Ginnivan getting nothing for us when he did the same thing.

We are still in this…. We need to some quality mids, backs and forwards to come in.

We are really missing Bobby hills speed. Need big quarters from Degoey and Beau.

We need to open the foward line up more to capitalise on so may inside 50s.


This quarter is season defining.

To be fair Ginni did used to get those frees until the media started crying about it. Somehow I don’t think Peatling is going to cop the same attention.

Our forward line is impotent and unable to win a content, and then we have dumb and/or selfish decisions from many of our players. Long has been a liability in at least two critical moments tonight.

I would like to see us flood the backline for the rest of the game then try to counter attack into an empty F50. Better that than the useless bombing we do when no forward can take a mark or pick up a crumb.

Essentially one five minute burst in which the Crows scored three goals. Outside of that we've been well on top. Their only other scores have come from two soft frees/50s and a contested pluck by Fogarty in a congested forwardline.

If the second half goes like the first, we win. I'm not convinced that it will. The Crows are an amazing team, there's every chance they lift to another gear and leave us behind. But make no mistake, we're in this up to our eyeballs.

Maybe because they just scored 5.1 to 0.1 after the Pies led 33-8.
Maybe because with just 19 inside 50s they have 6.3 (to our 5.4 from 36 inside 50s).
Let’s face it. A minor miracle from here will keep the margin under 5 goals. Top 4 is still alive even if we lose, but only if we save percentage.
Also, just win, however unlikely. Crows will
Stomp Roos final round and remain on top regardless of the result. Maybe they can let us win.
