We hope so because I can see Ballantyne/Walters/ Crozier causing us issues especially with the current form of our defenders.

Yep the matchups with Ballantyne and Walters and a potential cameo by Fyfe are our biggest headaches. Ats onto Ballantyne, LMac onto Walters, and the glove to repeat last years effort on Fyfe would be handy.

This game worries me a little.

I felt good going into the game vs. the Dees after beating a (definite contender) Adelaide and poor old Birsbane but that 50+ point lapse in Hobart has got me really thinking "if we do that against Fremantle, we'll lose by 100".

Fyfe looks a lot bigger this year, his legs are farking huge. I really hope that putting Jacobs on him will work this time because he looks conditioned to out-strength tags. In saying that, do we want to put another very young mid in there to find the ball vs. a desperate and dangerous Freo?

I'm glad the game is at Etihad because if it was WA, I'd say we are underdogs.

This game reminds me of that game vs Collingwood a few years back, where the Pies had a heap of injuries to important players and they still managed to beat us, even though we 'should' have beaten them.

Was it round one? I don't even remember.

I hope that we have matured since that time, but there's absolutely no way I'm confident of that. This teams needs to be professional, and professionals get the job done.

They didn't, but when the North cheer squad has come up with nothing for its own members to do, let alone anything to involve the rest of the home crowd, it's pretty lame for this to be their Big Idea.

In Round 1, the North Melbourne Cheersquad had a plan, a plan to get fans involved before the match starts! Our 2016 membership scarfs all say 'Shinboner Spirit'. Daniel Carroll took this amazing picture. Our goal is to make Etihad a fortress, to make it more like home against every team we play, especially interstate. This weekend, we encourage North Melbourne fans to do this, right after the toss of the coin, we will raise of scarfs to show we are one! If you have no scarf please try to get it, otherwise, wave your flag, I encourage you to wave it, proudly! Yep Beams was one of their outs and i went to the Game thinking we got this.

Not taking this game lightly that's for sure regardless of their outs. But at 3-0 while not playing our best yet hopefully we get the Win.

My son is in the cheersquad and i know they give up a lot of personal time during the week plus have to get to the ground 4-5 hours before the game and they are all very dedicated to the club. They also volunteer on family day to run stalls etc and all i see is that they cop crap.

Instead of criticing offer some suggestions. They are open to ideas you know.
