Hey guys, I just wanted to wish you all the best for next week vs Freo. :)

I regard Ross Lyon as one of the most despicable human beings in the sport, and the "purple army" close to the most dangerously feral group of supporters in the country (watch last year's Freo vs Haw prelim for proof) so I would absolutely adore it if you can humiliate them to a 0-4 record which would be Ross' worst start to a season ever.

Without Sandilands you guys should get the job done pretty comfortably, and it'll be a victory for 16 other clubs & the code itself. Go North!!
Next time don't leave anything out, tell us what you really think!! Ok we'll do Freo for Hawthorn's sake as long as you return the deed. You have to let us beat the Hawks. Deal?

Aaron Sandilands is recovering after suffering fractured ribs and a collapsed lung against West Coast on Saturday's night.

The ruckman will be discharged from hospital in the next few days but could miss up to six weeks.

"Our medical advice is that the surgery went well and that Aaron will spend a few days in hospital resting up," Fremantle General Manager of Football Operations Chris Bond said.

"Aaron will then go through a recovery phase after which our medical staff will be in a position to confirm how many weeks he is expected to miss before being available to play again."

Meanwhile Dockers’ captain David Mundy is expected to miss another week with a calf strain.

Jon Griffin is set to replace Sandilands against North after accumulating a game-high 36 hit-outs and 11 touches against the West Coast-affiliated East Perth in the WAFL. Zac Clarke is still nursing a knee injury he suffered in round one against the Western Bulldogs, while fellow tall Jack Hannath is also available.

Hayden Crozier could receive a call up after three goals, 30 disposals and eight tackles while forward Matt Taberner booted three goals from his 13 possessions.

Ripe for the picking.

But you're down in Denmark, pardon the pun for all the Danes who may be reading, I would've thought it'd be all fishing and relaxing not the Melbourne shit we have to live with.

Dunno why you'd be dropping Thomas...

We have slow small backs and will play him back into form
Has been smashed in the last 4 games vs the dockers.

Total disposals 23 disposals (4,10,4,5) for 2 goals 2 behinds (0,1.1,1.1,0) in 4 games.

Hey TUFF, why did you change your username again?
Well the truth is that Firestarter is a Cynic alias. The alias was created primarily because of the shit I started hanging on him. I thought that there were rules about having more than one username account. :stern look

We are but a small hamlet, and thus go by the term "Denmarkians".

Ross has a Sauron-like effect over the land and his minions are many.

I dunno what to think about the Freo game.

I wouldn't be surprised if we played four quarters like our first yesterday and won by 10 goals.

Thinking about yesterday for a minute.

We played a side that had to respond and we went in with (I think) the attitude we were going to flog them. When we did in the first quarter players went to sleep. This happens, even to good sides, and when it does its very hard to wake up. Especially against a side that has more talent than their ladder position shows and who lost to this year's * last week. A side with something to prove. (Thinking you've already won when you haven't causes psychological and more importantly, physiological changes in the players. So you're fighting a team that's coming back with steam billowing from its ears and your own body as it reacts to what it thinks is the end of the intense situation. We did well to come back and win.)

I accept its not a good thing to fall asleep on field but if Melbourne had come out fighting at the start of the game I think things might have been different and we would have won more convincingly. Obviously I'm speculating about a game that I missed 3 quarters of, but it just seems an obvious explanation about what happened. That we won is a bonus.

Hopefully the players are looking at the game as a loss, not on the scoreboard, but "morally". Radio said GoDees apparently walked off with their heads held high, but we didn't. If we can use that as a rev up it might be good motivation for Freo. Who have their own reasons to lift.

Stats from the first game vs Freo in 2015 which we lost by 73 points.

No Sandilands, No McPharlin (who usually tears Dish apart), No Mundy. Need to keep Ballantyne and Walters quiet. Ben Jacobs tags Fyfe.
