If the refrain goes that ‘Kenny can’t kick it for’em’, why recruit even more of’em?

More's the point... why stubbornly refuse to appoint a specialist kicking coach?
Even if it only helps one player, kick one more goal, it's worth it.

Surely it's got more likelihood of winning us a game than co-captains has.

If he wanted more pay he would've waited for free agency next year before signing with anyone, and Hawthorn are about as s**t as we are right now.

This still aligns with him already deciding to go next year and the club knowing so and the club being forced to do something now or lose
Its still him leaving not the club forcing him out


Any objective person would rate Hawthorn nowhere near as s**t as us and they still got their 3 flag coach ...and then Melbourne crowds etc ...
Nothing says to me we just decided to force him out ...rather he was always going and we got what we could

Just listened to Bassett's presser from yesterday. Apparently they practice close finishes all of the time, nearly every training session. That's got to be one of the saddest things I've heard.

Do we practice trying to win them or trying not to lose them?

Maybe Duursma had tired legs because he works harder than every single other bloke out there.

He deserves some slack due to his youth and work rate but the miss was technical.

He ran to the left and kicked exactly where he was running.
