After 2 good wins it's amazing what a loss to a good, inform side, is doing to the media and the fans.

Sometimes it's how you lose that makes all the difference.

I agree - we stripped away the old culture (something that had to happen) but didn't replace it with anything. We were lost in the wilderness with no compass, sometimes it still feels that way. The horizon never seems to get closer, particularly after games like last night.Yes his time was definitely up! But having said that, I'm sure we all enjoyed 87, 95 and I still see people looking back fondly on the 99 prelim. Taking his name off the stand was a bad look and I think we cut too deep with our culture.
What have the blokes in charge done since him? (excluding Dick he saved us)
Yep, look at who we had leading, compared to the hawks. Murphy versus Hodge, Hodge split him in half and broke his jaw and it's no coincidence we haven't won sh*t and they won 4 prems
Who would you be more inspired by as a leader, Luke Hodge or Marc MurphyI had no idea of the lasting consequences of a broken jaw.
Walk outside, it’s raining!Still fuming with our insipid performance, jones was garbage as was ed curnow and newnes.
Im in Perth its sunny.Walk outside, it’s raining!
Even after a good nights sleep, you wake up throwing haymakers at the shadows in your mind.Who would you be more inspired by as a leader, Luke Hodge or Marc Murphy
Go for a swim.Im in Perth its sunny.
There lies the problem with our recruiting.
Too many players recruited with lack of foresight into positions playable and athletic/aerobic capabilities at AFL level.
SPS
Kennedy
Dow
Stocker
All recruited in belief they would be midfielders, yet I’m not seeing it.
Ps, I wasn't drunk last night. I barely ever drink, I was fuming, and I am still fuming.Even after a good nights sleep, you wake up throwing haymakers at the shadows in your mind.
I’m glad I’m not your dog.
Calm down padawan, you’re dark-siding is becoming intolerable.
I really wish people would stop bringing up the Dogs game as justification for SPS being a gun mid, it was one game out of plenty that he played in the midfield, in saying that I think his best spot will be as a mid but first he needs to start taking ground instead of running in circles as clubs have worked him out and catch him from behind now, also we desperately need someone other than Doc to set us up coming out of defence I’m hoping it will be Willo but he has missed a lot of footy.go watch his game against the dogs last year
SPS for me is a small forward. There lies the problem with our recruiting.

This is why I hate losing to the saints. The fans are unbearable.
They might not have to this yearThey'll always be a middle of the road team until they can win at the MCG.
What you mean like the way Murph dragged us over the line last week, or the way Ed gives everything he’s got at every single contest, or the way Simmo still puts his body on the line every time it’s his turn, give me a break so sick of finger pointers on this forum. Without those guys we would be in deep s**t.Of course they are going to play some good games because they are good football players.
They are also long term ingrained losers which reveals itself in many ways to the young players who they are “leading”.
Look at what a winning leader does for a club (Hodge, Selwood) it permeates through the mentality of all around them. And you can bet it works the other way too.
Would you like to comment on his last two games?
More than one team scratching their head on this oneTell me again why SOS didn't pursue Dan Butler?? Cheap as chips and a reasonably smart small forward...??
Drink more.Ps, I wasn't drunk last night. I barely ever drink, I was fuming, and I am still fuming.
Yes. Overpaid. Not enough impact spud.
