I explained to my wife how the media keeps banging on about 100 points and how we finally did it in the last second after so long.

I described the last couple of minutes and how we had a few other chances then asked her to guess who kicked it

Wife - "I don't know"

Me- "Guess!"

Wife- "I don't know. Wouldn't have a clue. Who?"

Me- "just guess"

Wife- " I dunno.. vanilla?"

Me- "Too bloody right he did"
I love this! POTY!...

Couldn't agree more. It's happening. There's also Kennedy Stocker and Cuningham as well. Best young talented list I have ever seen ;) especially in the middle
There’s a young kid as well, I think it’s his first year. Name escapes me. I think he wears number 18?

I think he’ll be ok.

What about Curnow. From where I was seated it didn't look like he did alot. Happy to be corrected though.
Shits me that Curnow loves to take the free kick when the other team kicks it out on the full and its anyones ball.

He is clearly padding stats when we have about 18 players who would be better kicks than him. Cmon Ed stick to your strengths.

Today's win was sensational on so many levels.
  • SPS having a clear breakout game. Hopefully can back it up next week.
  • Harry becoming a dominant forward. Just awesome.
  • Walsh continues to impress. Got one there.
  • Zac Fisher back to his best. Had disposal efficiency of 85.7% for his 28 touches. Great work Zac.
  • Kreuzer back fit and firing. We clearly missed his presence in the first four rounds.
  • Our back six holding up extremely well. Most importantly, the Dogs small forwards didn't get a hold of us. Has been our achilles heel for the first four rounds.
  • Cohesion moving forward of centre. Gibbons not our primary target. Well done Bolton for fixing up our ball movement in such a short time.
  • Pressure across the ground was exceptional.

The list goes on. Great day for the club.

You need players who want the ball in big moments and Daisy still brings that.

I very happy to see him playing good footy and contributing consistently.
Speaking of this how good is it to have a forward in Harry that wants the ball in there hands, loved that he took the shot after the big run, next time he nails it.

Are you the type that would question where the other 10% went when the kid comes home all excited with 90% on their test.

Just kills the joy.

Time and a place champ.

The person they are referencing in their first post made disparaging comments about at least 4 different posters, then went on to post two or three more negative posts about other posters.

Constantly having a crack at everyone else on this board for not "supporting the team right" or having views different to your own is not positive. In no way shape or form.

His point, and mine - is that the constant attacks on other posters is what kills the joy.

Time and place - champ.

Loved his interview after the game

"What were you thinking when you took off. Chip it off to someone or goals?"

H- "Goals. Always think of goals"

Good. Good forwards are hungry for goals and never satisfied.

Yeah I saw him run 200m in 5 seconds from the other end of the ground before the ball went over the line to be 1st inline for the kick.

Can you get me some mushrooms also?

Sitting at the airport hotel in Osaka, enroute to China tomorrow. Been in Japan for a week.

A few days ago we were shown how to clense ourselves and then make a wish/prayer at a Shinto Shrine. I thought 4 consecutive wins was not too much to ask for.

I'm not claiming any credit for the win, but maybe, just maybe the Footy Gods are Shinto?
