Yeah, the better team won.
Can't just bomb it forward when the opposition are so good at getting numbers back. We certainly had enough of the ball to make it count, but handling has been rubbish and constantly being outnumbered where it matters.

The onus is now on the coaching fraternity. to conjure a plan to combat defensive flooding tactics.
Agree. It’s best that they come up with a plan to counter this in the finals.
Not to give the coach no responsibility but that looked like it was all on a lack of work rate by the players imo.
Reckon less than a handful of players looked fully committed at all during that game.
If it is because they were drinking their own bathwater then that was a great reality check.

No run & carry, slammed it on the boot constantly without knowing what’s ahead. Just outworked in getting numbers to contest & the ball movement into the forward 50 was kids stuff.
So glad they didn’t get up for an ugly win, kick up the arse/loss they had to have sort of game.

A wake up call there by a team that played better on the day. Now the streak is done with hopefully they can shape up and re-focus on the real goal, a premiership.
Brissie out played Freo in almost every facet of the game.
Out marked us all day,out run us all day.
They made the ground far too big for us to defend.They had players outside all day,when they won the ball that is where they took the ball.
In doing that, they stopped Freo from making the game a scrum and scrappy.
Out played on the day, but I am sure that Cooper will take it all onboard and make the changes needed.

Pretty muchthe same team that has won11 on the trot.Can't say they have too many outsiders when thay have won the girls all those games.

We need ball winners and clearances when teams flood. Where was plan B?
