Oh fk .I forgot to do this. Sorry for the late effort.

Firstly let me state the Dees give me the shits. Their supporters are the biggest downhill skiers god put on green earth. Speaking of skiing the Dees crowd might be a bit down as they will be packing up their Land Rovers and heading to the Snow Fields.

When we play the Dees , I always cast my mind back to the Tom Hafey game where they beat us and it makes my dick itch. What a sorry state of affairs . For some reason these campaigners seem to play well against us.

But that was then and this is now.

They have won 5 on the trot and are their supporters are up and about. But let’s look at this..... they have beaten spuds. Dockers meh, Saints double meh, The injectors yawn, Cats ... well ok but they have been spudding it up and the Hawks who are a pack of plodders.

So we have Jones with his 300th. I have a confession .... I like Jones ... good player and a good dude. Literally the only good player when they couldn’t buy a win with a suitcase full of cash. They should put a statue up of him for single handedly giving the MFC any sort of hope during the years of being genuinely deplorable. So the Dees for the first time since failed finals efforts have plenty of expectation.

They have Max who to be fair is an excellent ruckman. He is really the only area where they have superiority .But the rest of them.... meh.... there are some decent B graders masquerading as A graders.

My tip? They will fold up like a cheap tent and fall apart like a cheaper suit, and this will be the game that starts their descent into finishing 11th.

Dusty plays his 250th... not that he gives GAF and the team are past worrying about milestone games. For the Tiges it’s like finding a dollar on the ground after winning at the Casino.

The pressure will be on them, big stage and big milestone. The Tigers will do what they do.... play to the system and grind them to dust with the relentless pressure and structure.

Even with our outs we will win by 43.

Carna Tiges .

These pricks always show up to play us, sort of like Carlton. We are their grand final.

If we lose it will be 'Dawn of a new era, the Demons beat the best team of the last 4 years and become flag fancy'
If we win it will be 'Demons fought hard against the best but were tired and due for a loss anyway'

Then next week it will be 'Richmond is overrated. Crap team that's well-drilled in ugly football with no other decent teams to compete with'

Hope we give them a right fisting in the anus and they capitulate for the rest of the year.

We're starting to get some speed up now. I'd guess that Dimma wants to win against the current top teams (Demons Dogs) to give us the position to be top 4 by season end.

Not sure of the Demons really. They're winning, but not great wins. And mostly against fairly ordinary teams.

Shut down the midfield and pressure them. We'll see what they really are then.

Should really drop Aarts and bring in CCJ. Aarts is the only player I could see that we could afford to lose as shedda and Graham can role through the forward line when resting. Nank wont be able to go all day against Gawn who is really fit at the moment and Astbury/Balta/Pickett wont cut it when nank is resting.

They're actually looking really good, and some of the areas they excel are areas we aren't so strong at.
Gawn will dominate against us, especially if we only play Nankervis. He will need additional support and even then, Gawn is likely to be the best big man on the ground. So they excel in our ruck weakness.

Also without Prestia, their midfield has the potential to smash us inside. Petracca, Oliver, Viney, Jones will be very formidable inside and doing the grunt work. We probably have them on the spread if it gets out, but there's every chance they dominate the clearances so I think their strength there is challenging to one of our weaknesses without the Meatball to help. To mitigate this, one of RCD or Ross has to come into the 22. I think we are going to need that extra player in the mid rotations and hope they are ready to have an impact.

The areas I think we are on top, is that I think our forward line stacks up well, particularly if May misses again. I rate the firepower of Lynch, Riewoldt, Martin plus our rotational smalls compared to their team. Ben Brown could be a danger if he plays, but he could also be coming in for his first game and not have a big influence or synergy yet. I also think our back 6 has the edge, and just need our mids to break even. The danger is if the mids are smashed the back 6 will be under siege and missing Vlastuin still will hurt.

A lot of our forward strategy depends on if May plays. If he doesn't then Jack and Lynch need to play as far away from each other as possible to isolate the other against the lesser KPD, and force Lever to choose one or the other rather than sitting loose and zoning to cover both of them.

We know that in the first 10 or so rounds, Richmond are more of a grind and get results rather than playing our best football. I feel the Demons are on a higher level than that at this point of the season, and so wouldn't be surprised if they get up. The final thing in our favour though is that Richmond do generally turn up in the big games, and while the Demons will not lack motivation, in front of a big crowd (unsure of the capacity limits?) on the big stage Richmond have to have more trust in them.

It's a genuine 50/50 game for mine. IMO we need to split the Demons/Dogs 1-1. It would be a big ask to win both on current form of all 3 sides, but we can't afford to lose both either.

I think this is a better match up for us, and tipping the Tigers to shake some of the early season cobwebs and flex a bit of muscle to win a great contest by 8 points.

Jesus the melbourne supporters have gone early, one supporter rang SEN stating they will win 17 games ffs ! lol. They have relative zero injuries, have hardly traveled and played some very easy kills. They have obviously decided to set themselves up for early wins and just hope they bank enough to carry them through the flat spell or clubs go through, instead of preparing for finals as the priority.

No disrespect to Melbourne but they have not been tested yet. IMO I still believe they are a mentally weak side. FFS the Hawks who are bottom 4 got within 4pts in the last quarter.

We just need to blunt there natural motivation early, start physically beating them up and I dont mean go the biff, I mean by running them both ways over the ground while tackling, similar to what we have done to the saints. Nank to keep gawn honest will go a long way to making this a regulation win.

If I was Hardwick, I would prime for the first quarter and if we can get 3-4 goals up, continue that in the second, they WILL drop there heads, thats the Melbourne way.

Why am i so harsh ? I dont trust them, they have let me down so often when I have tipped them that they have actually improved.

Dees couldn't even beat hawks in the clearances. Over rated. Talk is may and fritsch might get up and I reckon one of ben brown and weideman will play.

Bring the pressure and they will go to water. Biggest front runners in the league. Well probably 2nd after saints actually.

Should be a ripper game. I'm in the camp that says Dees are much superior to their previous incarnations. The whole team is quite tuned in with each other from back to front, it is the foreward line that lacks teeth, which may be fixed in the coming weeks with some talls coming in. Dees will see the next game as a test.

Tiges looked to be purring along beautifully against the Saints for 3 qtrs. Con - early on King looked to be grabbing the game by the scruff, Bolta was caught out several times. Pro - once the mids started the hair raising pressure, the defence was back in control.

Would think that if Brown and Wiedeman come in, then that's a big challenge for tiges defence. I dont think both will play though, and Brown on his own coming back may take more than a week to be truly effective.

The big battle of course is the mids. Dees on fire here, and tiges also look good with their mids system.

Tiges to win, in a tussle.

Not too fussed whether we win or not but looking forward to Nank v Gawn.
Nank is Back to his fittest for years and playing with some real campaigner in him which might surprise Gawn physically.

There's a long list of things to enjoy about this Tiger team, but Nank smashing into a higher rated player for four quarters is right near the top. Bloody love it when he plays like he did against the Saints.
