horrible head knock. Blood everywhere. Thatll be concussion checks for both players.

apart from the swans getting 2 quick goals in the first few minutes, we appear to have dominated forward possession for the remainder of the quarter.

The high tackle game is working pretty well, Unfortunately accuracy in front of goal has not paid off well.

Swans 2.0
hawks 1.4

Just far too wasteful inside 50

Kech seems like a selection mistake
She's looking very slow, has had several opportunities where's she's made zero effort as her opponent has gotten it and sent it inside 50.

Has done a couple of decent smothers when we needed them through the middle, but not looking as good as she did last year.

Bec has a lot of friends in the media
I mean they only mention the swans. Every free kick was either against the swans or for the swans. Gilroy picked it up spun out of trouble and kicked it down field. And it was all about how the swans player got wrong footed or something.

I think we're looking pretty good defensively. Tackling and pressure is right up there.

We're not moving the ball as well as we can through the middle. Lot less handballs than normal, might be because its pretty hot and they're trying to move the ball as quick as possible?

We're falling over in the forward line with inaccuracy as the scoreboard is currently reflecting. We could be miles up with how much the balls been in our forward line. Hopefully we can change that in the 2nd half and get some through the big sticks.

Ashmore's been a rock in defense, marking everything, baskarans been trying her heart out through the middle and TLR is doing what she does every week. Jas fleming and emily bates need to get more involved. I like what mattea breed brings, shes a good pickup.

Halftime
Swans 2.3
Hawks 1.7

Aine McDonagh with a great pickup and goal. Hawks with the first one of the 3rd. Take the lead.

Swans 2.4
Hawks 2.7

another good run of play, ball over the back to stratton who runs in for another goal!

Swans 2.4
Hawks 3.8

Bates getting more involved in the clearance and we're taking our chances. Still making some mistakes, but thats understandable with a young side thats developing. Seeing good improvement each game i reckon.

Aine McDonagh gets a 2nd from a free at the top of the square.

Swans 2.7
Hawks 5.9
