Love that winning feeling. SO GOOD.

The young Swans getting played into form by the Hawks. Made them look second rate on kicking differential. How sweet.

Ling, Stephens, Taylor all look like high level contributors. Real exciting. Kudos to our recruitment. Ling is such a pleasant surprise, looks the part and belongs.

Rampe is an All Australian defender if they want that to mean anything anymore.

Reid in is massive.

Clarke still has a future.

Mills is simply a leader.

No doubt we are playing a different brand and attacking more , obviously and it looks good.

Thought fox was underrated tonight

Rampe best on by a mile

Sinclair looks done

Mills better back man , just doesn’t give us anything different in the middle and impacts the game more as a defender

Rowbottom could be our best mid at years end

Parker last quarter

Actually thought Clarke stood up

Cunningham flogged wingard and leave him as bp

Rampe massive. Aliir solid and looking like he's got his confidence back. Ling took a while to adjust but had a good second half. Clarke played one of his best games for us. Blakey had a few errors but looked much better overall and should take confidence. Both Taylors were good. And I am quite simply in love with Papley.

Always feel awesome to beat the hawks.

Rampe- absolutely sensational, looks to have broken his hand, one of the all time great performances from a swan

Ling- settles nicely, didn’t look to suffer from nerves and got better as the game went on

Lloyd-superb today, didn’t put a foot wrong

Rowbottom- was very very good. Loves to take the game on. He is the future of our midfield

Blakey- much better this week. Kicked a goal after a nice mark. Faded in parts of the game but all in all he was much better

Papley- has quickly become the best small forward in the comp. although I think he is chasing that Coleman very hard, only has his eyes for goal when he gets the pill

Mccartin was a little quiet this week but made big plays when he had to. Love this kid

Stephenson- does enough to earn a game. Doesn’t win, doesn’t lose. Has a lot more to give imo

I think everyone contributed today. Papley and Rampe were outstanding and the rest of the team all put in an even effort across the board. Rowbottom was perhaps the standout in the midfield.

A bit ridiculous reading from some on here that Florent, Ling, Bell etc should be delisted in the middle of a match.

On Ling, I think he has a class advantage over Mcinerney and Stoddart while being just as competitive.

On a sour note, Hawthorn are a very ordinary team and they came very close in the end.

It was the way we took the game on in the third quarter that won us the match.

I did note how Horse dropped Mills back to defence in the 4th quarter.

The reid tap for papley to goal was a lovely piece of play.

Yeah I thought Clarke was pretty good.

Only negative is rampe being clearly hurt

rampe and Papley were carrying us playing exceptional footy

the team worked for each other took risks, took it on

we beat hawthorn what else needs to be said * them

Aggresive attacking play that paid off and good to see some aggro from our players getting into the Hawks' faces.

Every young player looked like they belonged no matter the contribution.

Parker being a great leader when we need him to.

This game just reinforced how important it is for us to have quality senior talent.

Look at how Ling, Bell, McCartin, ET looked so much more comfortable in the second half once Rampe, Papley, Lloyd, Parker etc went to another level.
Makes things so much easier on the young kids.

Then there's Rowbottom. This kid is where it's at. Was prepared to lift this team and helped keep us in it.

Masterclasses by Rampe & Papley at both ends of the ground.

Fox was really impressive tonight. Clarke his best game for the club (low bar and still don't rate him but his ticker can't be faulted.)

Also...

Imagine playing a bunch of seasoned fossils and losing to such a young side. Suck **** Hawthorn and their head dwarf. 2 consecutive years we will be undefeated against his mob.
