He has played 14 games in 3 year and only 1 this season. When your team picked him up fro sturt, I thought he was a mature aged tall defender that is handy.

Is he injured? He is the type of tall defender you would put on a FF or a ruck-forward like a Ben Brown or tom lynch or Josh Jenkins or Ben king.

I like what he does forward as well he knows how to lead which Ladhams struggles with anyway with no SANFL in sight go the two prong.

Trouble is our game plan under Ken rarely has been set up for a ‘leading forward’.

Is Hayes a tidy kick for goal like Lade was? That would interest me more, we are poor in front of goal.

As has already been said by others Lienert is a taller than average flanker, but I will add to that by saying the players you have named as his potential opponents would absolutely monster him!

Joel Garner is a great call, I think they dropped him last year for Matthew Broadbent ! He played a decent game as well tough and direct Michael Wilson style.

Garner played an absolute blinder in the wet against GC last year. Can't understand why he hasn't gone on with it.

Thinking about it though, the way Melbournes mid is structured I think Rockliff will go alright.
