Duursma missed three weeks but was pretty good tonight. Competed well. Didn’t have a lot of the footy but used it at 83%. His defensive running is non-negotiable. One of our most reliable players.

Hard to tell if he's carrying an injury, has a case of the second year blues, or if he's just been Hinkley'd

My advice is just try to enjoy football one game at a time and completely ignore the overall context of the year and ladder position. We're on a hiding to no silverware ever under Ken so just treat each game as its own season.

Plantar isn't a condition that goes away after a couple of weeks. It takes months, sometimes years, to fully get over. It is manageable and there's been plenty of footballers who've played with it before.

I reckon there is a big chance we play two ruckmen against Melbourne if Lycett is fit. Westhoff surely will be dropped, Marshall injured his thumb. We will be short of talls, so ladhams stays..

Definitely shouldn't be dropped.

If we have Lycett available, Ladhams is clearly a better option than Westhoff as a mobile second ruck.

If we don't have Lycett available, Ladhams sucks as a first ruck at this stage of his career, but aside from a zero gamer in Hayes we have no other options so he gets picked out of necessity.

He is cooked, he was playing SANFL last year, Lienert obvious replacement for Bonner or Westoff not sure why but his name never gets mentioned.

I've mentioned before Lienert had a run of games and just fell off defensively after a while.

Watts (if we want a tall), or Garner (if we want a small/medium defender) I feel are better options.
