Westhoff needs to be dropped. And unless you're willing to drop one of Marshall or Georgiades, you can't play Ladhams and Hayes in the same team, because it kills one of your rotations off the bench...and Melbourne are susceptible to speed. McKenzie has to come back in.

If Rozee has plantar fasciitis, that means he's not going to run. Give him a rest and get him right, because without his run his opponent is always going to exploit his current lack of strength and experience. Either replace him with Bergman to get his speed back, or bring back Rockliff who has the strength/experience to make a difference.

If Boak is going to get tagged, we need another 1st inside/outside mid. I classify Houston as a 1a type. He's a Robin, not a Nightwing. If Boak is getting tagged, swap him with Gray as the deep forward.

I'm still persisting with Farrell, but he's on notice.

Not brining in Rockliff for Rozee, Should be no chance. I agree about your comment re speed, so brining in probably the slowest player on our list isn't the right call. Woodcock/Williams/Bergman here, depending on what role we want them to play.

How Bonner gets games instead of Lienert I just don’t understand. Besides being a more than useful player, Lienert is a great club man. With more games under his belt Jarrod will be much better than useful.

The reason I say Rockliff is simply because of his experience in the middle, in that we may be able to use Ladhams as another mid and lock the ball up a bit. Which means we're looking at another St Kilda like scrap on the inside, but hopefully we can get the ball to the outside and use the pace of Farrell, Amon and Duursma.

If you're playing Bergman, you get more run on the outside but you'll probably get smashed on the inside.

I'd drop Bonner and swing Connor to the half back flank. In the Roosters flag year he was devastating of half back. Him together with DBJ and Hammer gives us quality drive. He'll get his confidence back and can still pinch hit in other positions if required.

Westy need to come out and hopefully McKenzie is right to resume. If not consider Watts or Lienert. Westy wasn't as bad as he has been in recent weeks with exception of that dreadful kick. He wasn't our worst last night.

I agree with others, two rucks are required. Bring in Hayes (consider Buzza as well).

I also think Faz plays wing or not at all. He just doesn't find the ball at HF. I wouldn't mind seeing X go on the ball and play Farrel on the wing.

We have a short break between games so shouldn’t rush anyone back or push anyone. I would be thinking of resting anyone like Burton, Rozee, Lycett, Motlop, who are returning from injuries and I would not push Robbie or Westy - keep them fresh for the Adelaide games.
