IcwutudiddereYou'll win this week no problem, your forward connection can't get any worse than it was last week. Another honourable loss for the Dees coming up -__-

Nice try
If we get within 4 goals of your mob ill be surprised.
Worst part about all of this is that Gawn will be fired up as all hell after we went after him in round 1 last year. This could be one of the all time most one sided hitout/clearance games. Barring an amazingly efficient forward 50 display (lol, imagine that), I can't see how we possibly win this game.

The under 23 game against the Crows Hayes absolutely dominated in the ruck. He wasn't against a genuine ruck but his leap was good and he was moving around the ground well. Would prefer he gets a go over Buzza.
It's time though he's not a raw project tall he has genuine ability as a tap ruck and has good natural forward ability. It's his 3rd season and during that time he was out for a year with an ACL.

I like what he does forward as well he knows how to lead which Ladhams struggles with anyway with no SANFL in sight go the two prong.I agree he should play, just noting that he's really had 1 SANFL season and a few scratch matches. Not really close to 4 seasons.
Hayes is better than some state league middle age plodderWe probably should’ve taken a mature age ruck in the rookie draft for situations like this.

He should. We simply can’t go into this game with Ladhams as our sole ruck against Gawn. Hayes must come in
Our ladder position is a false representation of where we are at. This is well and truly a 50/50 game. I think the fact we will have an 8 game ruck going up against the superstar Max Gawn, will give you guys a hell of an advantage. If Melbourne aren't favourites with the bookies, then a smart gambler would be putting their money on the Dee's.underdog status is ours accept it
But seriously I expect Port to win by 2-3 goals.
