Had a look at the replay.
Hawks crumpled across half back due to the relentless pressure.
Jiath was great for the Hawks though.
Have to encourage a player like that to use initiative.
One of the highlights was the Pickett chase down and tackle.
Dimma says Vlaustin likely to return.
In: Vlaustin out: Caddy omission.
I thought Rioli was struggling with an injury?

Thats probably 1 of the easiest plays to defend for a team like Richmond

Yes and no.

I have every confidence we'll cope with it well along the lines you outline, we set up better than anyone for those circumstances, but once the aerial contest goes to ground, luck so often plays an element in what happens next.

Half a dozen or so plays where the spoiled ball lands in the lap of an opposition player who then uses it well, or we get a few 50/50 frees against us trying to shut that player down, or when the ball comes to ground it ends up in an unlikely drop of the ball area they are best placed to capitalise on (or some combinations of all three at different stages) can hugely influence the game.

The brand of fast, direct, corridor footy they're currently playing opens opposition sides up to the possibility that games can be at least partially decided simply by the luck that goes with the fall of the ball. It takes a bit of the control of the game out of our hands and puts it in the hands of blind luck and the bloody umpires.

That's always dangerous to some extent.

So far these 3 kids have played brilliantly against Lions & Crows

Lions are not as good as people making them out to be , The lost to the cats which lost to the crows
Then then the Swans beat the Crows. Neither game had any sort of pressure

1 thing i know about kids is that they dont hold their form against pressure for 4 quarters and also for multiple games in a row

Tigers by 66 points which is roughly 16 points a quarter

Heeney is on six goals, McDonald on five.
Papley is playing further afield.
Probably play Astbury on McDonald, who is tall.
Swans are developing Mills as their key mid, Graham should target him.
I was impressed by Pickett's chase down tackle the other day.
Hope he lays a few heavy, but legitimate, bumps.
Their young players are inexperienced in terms of the rough stuff.

Votes on SEN were,
Dusty 3
Cotchin 2
Jiath 1

They then mentioned Mitchell, 37 disposals, Cornes goes gets too many possies in the back half and doesn't hurt the opposition. Plus had only 170 meters gained, averaged 4.5 meters per disposal.
You just know that the umpires after the game will look at the stats sheet and say "wow. Mitchell got 37 possessions. That's the 3 votes there" and not look at how damaging or effective those possessions were.

Dusty had 11 score involvements and far more effective.

It’s taken a long time for the afl community to wake up to this, but finally a good chunk of people are starting to get it. we needed a player like Dusty to show the non believers the way. but there still are conversions to be made.

Tom Mitchell is all about padding up his numbers, that's why he ventures down back so often to get cheap possessions, where dusty stays forward of centre more times than not.

Coach's votes Mitchell didn't even get one vote lol, Says a lot about his nothing 37 disposals. Dusty will get the 3 Brownlow votes.

Clarko giving Frost 2 votes with 16 disposals lmao, might as well given Short, Astbury or Balta a vote for their defensive efforts.
Cotchin was way more influential than frost or Blake Hardwick.
