forward pressure barely matters with these sh*t new rules

from the kick-in or if you take a mark in your d50, then you can just run it out and kick it to halfway nearly. if any players are too close trying to pressure ump just tells them to clear out. motm can't do sh*t

pure pressure small forwards next to useless. need mediums that can compete in the air and go up the ground a bit like chaos king

spot on

We’re on the rebound too
Maybe it's just me but I always feel the opposition early in the season hits us harder on the rebound than we hit them. Maybe it's because we just don't have that hard edge early on or mentally we just aren't there but based on the players we will be missing and how easily the Swans dismantled us today unfortunately I think Port might be our second loss on the trot next week.

Port on double rebound from the PF loss still

Ump thought Macca took the legs. Didn't. Incorrect call.
Yeah was just a footy act don’t think rampe even has anything to worry about
Props to rampe for going straight to Macca and calling the trainers over as well

Cotch and Prestia always tend to start the season slowly.
Cotch often had only 65 per cent of game time throughout last year.
Prestia starts to hit his straps around week seven or eight, normally his first several weeks are interrupted.
It's a long season.
It would be amazing to see if the Swans could maintain such a hectic pace, they had the top six players in terms of disposals.
The dust settles mid-year, then we shall see who the real contenders are.
