2 Tom Hawkins, for a couple of good conversions and contested marks, although he was generally a non-factor when the game was up for grabs
1 Cam Guthrie, although he was generally a non factor and, like all of his midfield mates, fumbled more often than an AFL footballer should

5. Bartel, the old bloke was easily our best on ground, reliable on the defensive end.
4. Lang, one of the best games I've seen him play was really composed throughout the game.
3. Selwood, was actually influential when he had the ball and did some really good things - you can never truly hold this man down. I've always said hes a better player than Dangerfield for what he does with the ball and hes proved it again today.
2. Duncan, seemed to battle hard throughout the day but didn't get the reward he truly deserved. Definitely lifted the side at points during the game.
1. Hawkins, had about 80 players sitting on him all day, shithouse delivery and highballs inward didn't help him at all. Stood up when we needed him but the inside 50's dried up.

Bews may be the best we have for that spot for the time being. Needs to be persevered with; GHS - we have options.
Unless we fiddle with Guthrie in BP/HBF
Ruggles may be a rookie in experience, but he doesn't come to us like a Barlow
