Where did i say dominated. Only time i got to Umpire them last year was against bacchus. Only said kicked 6.6 while being double teamed. He had an average day by his standards. I have umpired him at least 7 or so times and he has truly dominated some of those games including against redan in their prime.
Perhaps you can confirm something for me Mr O.U. -
I had heard that ALL our umpires are enrolled to receive some special training this season mate. The course apparently is titled - Rudimentary Exponents for Teaching Amateurs Reflex Disciplinary Skills.
I believe once you blokes have passed this course each of you will be given a diploma of..................................... R.E.T.A.R.D.S. !!!
Not true!!!! Its been in place for years. I passed it a long long time ago Omni. Did miss out on the pink shirt i was promised though. They said some bloke from Riddell bought them all. Had to go with orange instead.

The ban applies to inner sanctum at Riddell - coaches, assistant coaches, match committee etc.
How would you go at Romsey if that was introduced?
I don't get the whole "social media" ban thing, I understand if the people were a straight out troll looking for bites, like if you were on the match committeebut overall, I think it is great to see the officials getting involved and pumping up their clubs tyres.. Just my opinion though.
Loving the banter on all the forwards.. there is no doubt that Erwin is one of the best backmen in the competition, if not, the best.. Dan Gregory is an unbelievable stand-out too..
Round one promises to be something amazing.. Saturday night football.. Romsey with Erwin and Broadford with Hall.. what a match-up and the crowd will pack the Park again.. arguably the best backman and forward going toe-to-toe..
I've never seen Jordan play and can't wait to.. have seen Tuckey in action quite a few times.. we've never really seen him kick a bag, yet play in many winning matches.. if the shine is taken from Tuck, it would be largely thanks to the quality of stars around him and that says a lot about the Diggers Rest club over the last few years..
When I started getting into football in the middle of last decade.. Lee James was the guy I wanted to see play .. I remember the 2005 Grand final.. the first decider I went to and such was my amazement of the day that he had eight kicks on the day and kicked eight goals.. he also took a big hanger over Sammy Bowen at the Hawks that would never be forgotten..
The best forward that I've seen in all was when I used to do the scoreboard for Woodend in the late 90s and the great Michael Werner used to rip the Hawks apart.. he was the guy you'd love to see.. it's a shame that Gisborne jumped to the Bendigo league because it was amazing to see..
Moorcroft was great on his day.. he kicked three goals in the first 10 minutes on Jesse Sheppard on debut for the Redbacks and 8.6 for the day.. he was outstanding in his short stay, but his time in the midfield took him out of the goal square a bit..
One name that shouldn't be forgotten is 'Guess Who?' Matt Davidson.. one of the best footballers I've ever seen in the competition across the board.. if he stays up forward, look out.. he will blitz the competition.. I've never seen a player spoiled from behind, recover to gather the ball and kick a goal while having not looked at the big sticks, in almost a single actionUnbelievable!
That's a shame.. didn't he and Reaper (when at Kyneton) go head-to-head when Gisborne jumped over there or was it too late by then? After Werner kicked 28 goals in a game and 173 in a season Gissy thought it was time to look else where.

The week after, Daff Fowler kicked 37 for Wallan !!!!!!!!!After Werner kicked 28 goals in a game and 173 in a season Gissy thought it was time to look else where.

It's very good for the competition, Romsey & indeed Dawson himself that he is staying put with the Redbacks, because it would be a damn shame for a guy with his talent to be running around all season in Riddell's two's !
He would replace Sylvester as he would no longer be at the club.It would seem this little post I made some time ago has caused some measure of consternation amongst my good friends over at the Redbacks. Seems "THEY" think I was being derogatory towards one of their favourite sons, EVEN though I said the bloke had talent ! WHY do SOME people ALWAYS interpret my posts in a negative way ?It appears there was ONLY one person that got what I saying !
Honestly my phone has literally been going into overload with the plethora of text messages I am receiving protesting that Cam Dawson would've walked into the senior Riddell line up of 2014. "IF" he had've gone to the Bombers ???
Although I realise that the good folk over at Romsey (in their infinite wisdom !) have placed a "Media Ban" on anyone over there voicing their "God given Right" to freedom of speech on here at "Evil" BigFooty. It made me think. With that in mind, I respectfully ask this "Hypothetical" open question/s of ANYONE else out there -
Would Cam Dawson be in Riddell's best 22 players this season & thus be selected in the Bombers senior line up ???
What position would've Dawson played in Riddell's side ???
"WHO" would Cam Dawson force out of Riddell's "Premiership" line up of 2013 & "WHY" ???
(Bare in mind when answering, that it has been established on here that the Bombers have already recruited proven Premiership "Stars" Pat Cariss & James Petran into their side for 2014)
