Lancefield will find it tough. Read on the rdfl website a report from Yeendy they are trying to get them up and running again.
Think comparsion to the AFL are a waste of time.
So what do you think we should do???
Let the strong sides stay strong and leave the others to die?
You don't have any idea, the same people were at Greenvale the difference being Greenvale put a business plan in place & the committe got off their arses, Marby need to do the same. I tried to get a kid to Coburg in February, he had already been paid 15k up front for this season, the team competes in the Amatures, they don't pay do they?No point arguing with the haves they don't get it
Look at marby park had access to lots $$$
Now fighting off relegation
Because of all the imports not there any more
And some clubs just can't find the $$$ required now
It's a fact

No you know exactly why they left, don't make up stories your starting to sound like a 16 year old
Why are you guys so worried about these guys in past posts where called reserve players and wouldn't get a gameWe have local footy clubs for locals to play the game. Of the 2 that left us last year, the older one moved to Romsey with his family only a couple of years ago and not sure he actually played alot of jnr footy for us. The younger of the 2 left romsey, went to Macedon, then to Gisborne, before coming back last for a few games.
Atm, there are great mateships at the club, and the club is in a very positive position. Other clubs that have been there this year would agree.
Great six point win by the Tigers today at Oniongrass Arena, although there are rumours the groundsman watered the oval on Friday night to make the surface more slippery than usual. The Tiger hierarchy might have to consult with One Eyed Blue to ascertain what variety of grass they should sew to bring it up to standard. Tevita Fonua was sensational at the stoppages and a gutsy effort, with neither Chris Collins or Tony Fulton taking to the ground in the second half.Any scores from woodend or Lancefield?

Gee some people on this thread have short memories. It wasn't that long ago when opposition players were getting changed in a tin shed at Romsey that was on a lean and had showers that struggled to maintain hot water for three games of footy.
Romsey hasn't always been a powerhouse, neither has the Sunbury Kangaroos (nee Rovers), or Riddell, for that matter. I'm not for or against a points system, because I haven't done enough research into what it might entail, but I don't think its about curbing the stronger clubs' influence.
I think its about getting back to a reasonably level playing field. The good clubs will still do well because they are good clubs. If there was a system that rewarded clubs for having local players, Romsey should still do OK. Its current side would look completely different, but it wouldn't drop out of the top three.
Crowds will still come to games if their side is winning and there should be more spectators if the games feature more local players.

So naughty boys like yourself can look at the single girls at the bottom of the page on BF!Answer this question without involving romsey or broadford or any club in general
WHY DO FOOTY CLUBS exist ???
Thanks One Eyed Blue. I knew deep down you secretly had a soft spot for your hick cousins up the road. I'll let them know to start ripping up the onion grass in favour of the potato grass, but with some of the high priced recruits you have at the Redbacks, I'm guessing you must be growing a more lucrative type of grass to pay them.Blueboy I have spoken to Mocca and he suggested that you sew potatoe grass on it.
Pickles who has won the most Premierships in the RDFL?
