Its more clubs' fault than any player, after all the clubs at times throw massive "overs" at second rate footballers, some virtually sight unseen or having done no "due dilligance" as was the big word on here a while ago so of course they'll turn disloyal.

For Christ sake if Mr. Cadbury offered me double what I was worth I'd say ta ta to Willy Wonka tomorrow.
Don't think it just goes for second rate players and agree if the $$ is tempting enough in today's world of course you would take it
Show me the money

Kyneton's ground will probably be out of action.. with the wet weather and lack of sun this winter, the ground hasn't recovered at all and has a heavy run towards the end of the season, so whether the council look at the condition of it then and let it determine their decision.. there could be suggestions of using the bottom oval .. the newest surface outside of Romsey's second oval.. (apparently isn't an option anyway).. the Senior cricketers will move to the Junior oval this year while the other grades will be active on other grounds like riddell last season.. this is going to be a tough run for the Hawk footballers..

Is there any possibility that the Hawks could play some home games at Tylden next season? It's only 10 mins further away and they have a ground that could be utilised for the whole season.
Otherwise where did Hesket used to play back in the day...?

Does anyone no if the bombers have re signed Troy scoble? Would be a massive loss if he didn't lead them into the future?

Will be interesting too see who stays at Redbacks next year after just having a conversation with a well known senior player! Player payments have stopped after clearances went through..is this old news?
IMO it's a bit out of control now the money some players get anyway.

Payments may be out of control however that is no excuse for a club to backflip on it's contractual obligations.

I did hear the same thing to, although it was 3rd or 4th hand so not sure....

Hey Rose Tattoo, I also hear that politicians tell the truth, Elvis is still alive, that the moon landing was a hoax and that Lancefield have already been told they are hosting the Grand Final this year even though the RDFL are meeting tonight to decide. You can't handle the truth!, so maybe before posting rumours, scuttlebutt, innuendo or just plain blatant lies and choosing to believe whoever or whatever you should double check your sources.

Will be interesting to see what venues are decided obvious two options for grand final but due to bad condition of other venues would be interesting
Wonder if the possibility of romsey playing in the grand final influences the decision ???

Time will tell then the truth always comes out. I think it's disgusting if it is happening and it will def not help future recruiting.

Why should it? Lancefield played at home in 1 or 2 Grand Finals.

What's all the full stops for?
So as a Romsey person you can categorically say that what I was told by a senior player is false?

Well lets see, after slandering the club you shouldn't have a problem putting the senior players name on here to back your story. Lets see how much truth there is in your statement.
You only need to put a name on here?

I heard the same as well on the week-end too.......Off a very reliable source. Apparently all their players are supposed to be getting payed at the end of the season at their presentation night.
How many times have players been fed this old chestnut over the years ???

I don't know whether they are, or whether they aren't, but there's never been a player not payed at the club.

Perhaps they can do a deal with macedon share there ground or gisborne
Gisborne can't keep the ground in good knick for their own seniors and juniors, let alone another club. Pickles comment about the second Macedon ground is definitely worth a thought. End of the day, the Woodend chiefs should have it worked out
