haha this made me laugh, that is one of the worst rumours i have ever heard. There were no fist fights between the girls of either sides or anything close to it. The game ended up being a draw and both sides shook hands. One girl got a blood nose during the game from an accidental hit in the face. Funny rumour though
 
hey does n e one know if there is an inter-league game for the netball this year? if so where and when do they name the training squads?

There was tryouts few weeks ago for interleague.
I think Kim Bailey and or Mellisa Climas may be coaching, pretty sure they have picked the team not to sure who.

Hey - there's two players from Wallan at this stage.
Kirrily Gilchrist who played last year too and Michelle Millhouse, who are both centre court players :thumbsu:

the centre from melton's name is Jess she is a great player! when do we get told about tryouts? i know none of us from Rockbank would get a look in but would be nice to feel as though we exist. or most likely our club is told when the tryouts are and don't bother informing us. :confused:

at the srart of season as far as i no every1 was told to nominate players then if intrested go to the tryouts..:confused:

as ive said before, dont underestimate centrals! :D it was a very windy day, very hard to play however both sides had to deal with the conditions and melton did a great job of it. well done to kim bailey for diggers on reaching 100 games for the club! great achievement :thumbsu:
im already looking for the next encounter, round 17 just before finals!!
 
I mean Diggers are a better team than melton, but obviously melton were better on the day, melton are a great team no doubt about that:)

Melton have recruited brilliantly. they are by far the best side that i,ve seen in the past 6 years ,including last years premiers ,Macedon and the dual premiership team ,Riddell.

On watching the game on Saturday. The day was not the best for netball but Centrals played well in the conditions and looked the better side on the day !. Keep in mind that both sides played in the same conditions !!!!!

Also congrats to the Rockbank girls on their first win in quite some time (don't think they won one last year).

Comp is getting better and more competitive this year though still looks like Diggers are the ones to beat across the board with Centrals looking a close second.

Then again it's only Round 5 and anything can happen.

:D As I heard there were tryouts for all who were interested. So if you didnt try out, how do you expect to get a game..

I don't expect to get a game there. Never played there or tried too. I have no problem with what they've done, never said I did, was just saying it's a shame I didn't get to see some of the girls this year. They've always been nice to play against and usually share a drink with us after the game.

Good on Centrals for recruiting so well, good to see them getting ahead this year :thumbsu:

Yes a few of the girls aren't playing in C grade but its their decision. Alot of them are happy to watch the netball and have boyfriends who play footy. I personally know of two girls who decided not to play because of the tryouts but they still are part of the club. Nothing has changed with the netball, they still have a drink afterwards, just more girls coming in and they enjoy it! You are more than welcome to come down... might make our side better!! :D
