haha this made me laugh, that is one of the worst rumours i have ever heard. There were no fist fights between the girls of either sides or anything close to it. The game ended up being a draw and both sides shook hands. One girl got a blood nose during the game from an accidental hit in the face. Funny rumour though

Interleague weekend is Queens birthday weekend and I understand there will be netball but do not know who will be coaching and playing.

I think Kim Bailey and or Mellisa Climas may be coaching, pretty sure they have picked the team not to sure who.

at the srart of season as far as i no every1 was told to nominate players then if intrested go to the tryouts..

as ive said before, dont underestimate centrals! it was a very windy day, very hard to play however both sides had to deal with the conditions and melton did a great job of it. well done to kim bailey for diggers on reaching 100 games for the club! great achievement
im already looking for the next encounter, round 17 just before finals!!

Melton have recruited brilliantly. they are by far the best side that i,ve seen in the past 6 years ,including last years premiers ,Macedon and the dual premiership team ,Riddell.

Most of the girls are now playing in the B and C sides for Centrals and playing well.

On watching the game on Saturday. The day was not the best for netball but Centrals played well in the conditions and looked the better side on the day !. Keep in mind that both sides played in the same conditions !!!!!

Just wanted to say well done to the Centrals girls on such a big turn around from last year. I do note however, it appears alot of the girls who've played there over the last few seasons are not even getting games in the C Grade. It's a shame.

Also congrats to the Rockbank girls on their first win in quite some time (don't think they won one last year).

Comp is getting better and more competitive this year though still looks like Diggers are the ones to beat across the board with Centrals looking a close second.

Then again it's only Round 5 and anything can happen.

As I heard there were tryouts for all who were interested. So if you didnt try out, how do you expect to get a game..

I don't expect to get a game there. Never played there or tried too. I have no problem with what they've done, never said I did, was just saying it's a shame I didn't get to see some of the girls this year. They've always been nice to play against and usually share a drink with us after the game.

Good on Centrals for recruiting so well, good to see them getting ahead this year

Yes a few of the girls aren't playing in C grade but its their decision. Alot of them are happy to watch the netball and have boyfriends who play footy. I personally know of two girls who decided not to play because of the tryouts but they still are part of the club. Nothing has changed with the netball, they still have a drink afterwards, just more girls coming in and they enjoy it! You are more than welcome to come down... might make our side better!!
