Well Well Uncle rears his ugly face again. Didn't quite get a chance to have a meal last night but the salad did look very nice. I will have you know that I am just peaking at the idea of you helping me with my nutrients, Im getting quite flushed.
I wont need too much luck this weekend but i will be in the car with my own takeaway stubbies and own camper stove in the back keeping the hot dogs at the right temp after I have snuck in the side gate or flashing the old Diggers Membership card so i dont have to give those scumbags a dime.

Harry's Tips for the Weekend's Games

Macedon v Woodend Hesket

The only thing that seems to be in favour of Macedon this week will be that the game is played at Tony Clarke Reserve. Woodend will be far too strong for the young cats. If, and I repeat IF, the Cats young guys can lift to match the Hawks young brigade, they might have a chance of sneaking within 5 goals. Both sides will be accustomed to the snow if it decides to fall this week so I doubt if the weather will be a factor. Woodend by 10 goals.

I agree HFF, it's not Macedon's youth that's letting them down this year. They simply don't have the depth at the top of their list.

Pickles is right. Most people get on here to see what other peoples thoughts are on matters RDFL on and off field, give some of their own opinions and chat footy generally. Lately it seems to have become a forum for personal grudges and heroes sniping at each other from the keyboard.

But hopefully I can stir up some footy chat/debate with asking, now that everyone has played everyone once, how do you all rate the opposition. I know Riddell is widely regarded as the benchmark again, but does anyone genuinely believe they're a 20 goal better team than Sunbury? I've seen both play and I certainly don't. And what about the bottom teams? Who's got the most scope for rapid improvement and why?

Kanga's beat Diggers by a point on the siren. Quick snap by an unguarded Leigh Sporle from the pocket 1 sec before siren gave them the win. Great game by the Kanga's sees all but sees Diggers finals hope evaporate with a season full of if's buts and maybe's.......
Kanga's 2's also got up to defeat an undefeated Diggers side.

Woodend by 11 goals. Is it true Riddell only won by 11 points? Great work by Kilmore. Perhaps this year is still worth playing out. A week ago certain posters would've had us stop the year and hand over the cup to unbeatable Bombers. Hawks cant wait for this week! Is it also true that there was an all in brawl at 3/4 time in the Roos v's Diggers game and 4 reports was the result. Just rumours filtering through at the moment-can they be confirmed?-If true who was reported and why?
