wheels is definatly playing and will be firing on all cylinders tomorrow.unluky to only play the first ten against the bankers due to soreness which has since passed.in our opinion at centrals wheels is a terrific leader on and off the field and has been magnified this year with greeny onboard.look out kilmore bullen is on a hot streak and can dominate a game in the wet or dry,add plummer and jarrot and the obrien bros and its only a matter of time before it all comes together!!!good luck to all teams for the round, and looking forward to a few beers with the kilmore boys before our ball .

Would agree with you there WICK. Very smart footballer and knows how to bring others into a game. Very similar leadership skills to Shaun Sims.

The top five has spicened up a little with Romsey toppling Sunbury Kangaroos by around five or six goals this afternoon. Burlak proved the difference with six majors. Morgan was also instrumental as the Redbacks jumped the Roos early to have a five goal break at quarter time.

Kilmore continues to hang in there with a 16-point win over Centrals, Robbo, Kingy and Chooka (Barton) were amongst the best. Melton were unable to get revenge on Hede as he was not selected due to an achilles injury.

Woodend-Hesket smashed Lancefield. I don't know the final score but when I left the Hawks were shitting on the Tigers. Podbury looked dominant, Dowling had snagged a few. Else was his usual brick wall. Was impressed with Ninger, Jay Downing and Paul Vella. The conditions really suited them. While Sippy will probably feature in the Hawks' best, his work off the ball was a little lazy to me, but that could be because he is still finding match fitness. Sammy Bowen continues to get the pill, but I reckon in the first half I saw six or seven direct turnovers from his kicks.

Riddell probably beat Macedon and Diggers Rest was likely to beat Rockbank. Will post the scores as they come to hand.

good to see jose getin in the best for diggers, if he gets goin with sims ruane and heritage there still a big chance at the five.

romseys win still gives em a sniff at the top 3, i think it will come down to romsey and sunbury for 3rd spot, because woodends % will be too strong.

the run home will be exciting with a race for the double chance between sunbury woodend and romsey, and a race for 5th spot between kilmore and diggers

how hots cornishes form! about 35 goals in 5 games, gun

Does anyone know when Aaron James is eligible to play footall again ???. I do remember he got a lengthy holiday either last year or the one before for aggresively chatting to an umpire. :D
Anyway my reason for asking is that I noticed he was cleared to Stanhope on Friday.

He copped 15 weeks in the finals last year, we have now played 12 rounds so he would have 3 more to miss. Yes he was cleared to stanhope last friday.

Harry would like to extend a thanks to IMS for his warm welcome on Saturday at Boardman. It was very good to finally put a face to a name to an alias? If you know what I mean. I was dissapointed that I couldn't stick around to enjoy a couple of beverages with the boys, Mongrel included, due to some family commitments. Next opportunity boys, I'll get the first round!!

Great game also. I know this may be a little biased, but I thought both Burlak and Morgan were outstanding. I also thought "Walshy" who played on the half back line played very well for the Roos.

I was a little dissapointed in the treatment the Redbacks players received from the boundary line, but all in all it was a really good day. Thanks guys.:thumbsu:

Where's the little chat about the women at the kangaroos games? Got taken off pretty quick IMS.

Its a football thread Cobber, if you have issues with the crowd at any game, take it up with the committee of that club. The posts were abusive and uncalled for, therefore removed...

im sure all clubs have supporters that maybe go overboard while supporting there clubs. Is there any internal process at any club for handling these people or is it only brought to like when there is an offical compliant.

All RDFL clubs have been told not to post things regrading crowd behaviour, tribunial panels and pointing out certain umpires! This is why IMS is deleting post's! Its got nothin to do with because he is from Sunbury or not.........

If there was an internal process this would be used most weeks in burra land would it not. ALL teams have there days where the crowd behavior is a little ordinary and i would say kangaland is not the worst,by a longshot.. I can't comment on this case as it was one of a rare game I miss, however from the posts on here I am tipping some peoples effort was a bit ordinary. Like any club I'm sure these people will get a quiet word and the club will get past this. I hope this forum can do the same in the near future.

Would love to hear from anyone that can give us a rundown of the Centrals V Kilmore game, looks as though it was a cracker...

Cornish another 6, has to be the form player of the competition at the moment.. 3 bags of 6 in a row.. Could that be 9 umpire votes???

Centrals kicked the first three goals of the match, Kilmore fought back to have scores level at qtr time.

Arm wrestle in second term, but game was opened in the third term when Salter and Cornish proved unstoppable.

Barton provided plenty around the stoppages and Robbo had plenty of influence.

Despite a brave comeback from a 28-point deficit at three qtr time from Melton, Kilmore held on.

Notice Trav Hede conveniently missed with an achilles injury. :D

The Blues will miss coach Terry Ahearn for a fortnight as he ventures overseas.
