With Robbo and Cornish playing football towns apart, I didn't have time to watch much netball. Saw the Blues' A-grade briefly.

My musings:

UNDER 18s - My top six is shaiping this way - Lancefield, Riddell, Kilmore, Macedon, Kangaroos, Diggers Rest -- then daylight.

Surely you cant have diggers sitting 6th. The only reason you have done that is because the game was the closest of the round. Burra 18's will finish top 2-3.

Good win by the RDFL under17's yesterday beating Cairns easily. Was excellent to see just how far we have come in 2 years, the professionalism was outstanding, from dress code, uniforms, organisation and preperation the game was a success.

Congratulations to Scotty, Porky, Beats, and everyone involved, for the win, the effort put in over the last few weeks paid off.

Look out, the next generation coming through looks exciting.

Played ok, got a bit of it in stages, young Dylan Murphy is a talent above the rest though, he has the head of a senior footballer and a body of a year 7 unfotunately.

Dont get to excited old mate, i might be giving Scooter the odd chop out, maybe with a stat or two on the sideline when i can.

We will wait and see and at the end of the year let Scooter decide who the number 1 recruit is - Lee James, Sam Young or Bears Boy.

Lets hope KA that Scooter can tempt BB into playing.......hes a damaging and exceptional player, blessed with toughness and blistering speed and skill. If Riddell have any hope of securing the 08 flag that his immediate inclusion into the senior side is a must..........

Lets put pressure on Scooter to play him by starting a PLAY BEARSBOY poll and post as many hits as we can to force Riddells hand, he is the Micheal Voss of the Riddell league.

Good on coach Coxy if true, great get seems he will be replacing Chippa Douglas who will return to Broadford

Chippa Douglas is keen to return if the conditions are right. Doesn't want to leave Coxy in the lurch but on the same hand would like to come back. Yeah apparently Lee James is the go.

We didnt recruit him, he showed up for training last week...

Kingy, what IMS is trying to say is, we had no idea who he was till he rocked up at training and wanted to play with us..... We didn't contact him in other words.

If his services are required as an assistant, then we would be stupid not to use them. It's Jarrod and Deano's call.

Did not play Gissy - just coached - I think he played at Melton South before Gis.

Only meet the bloke a couple of times but does sound like a geneunly nice bloke. Bought a house with new wife hence why he moved to sunbury and playing with Kangas.
