Re: R.d.f.l Thread 2008

Mo has signed with Kilmore and will play, both according to him and his coach. West Coburg apparently knocked back his clearance applications because they believed he still had a jumper, but according to Speers, it was a misunderstanding and has been resolved. The best for Kilmore were (according to the coach): Dave Saunders, Trav Hede, Chris Temperley, Lucas D'Antonia and Mo Kaakour. EDFL A-graders Oak Park won by about eight goals.

Hede was good.. Kaakour was good... D'Antonia if he is the small guy with the black shorts was good... Goudge dominated in the middle...

Oakers had a few missing (Obviously) as did Kilmore.. Just think the quality Oakers had out may have been a little higher.. Would have been a good hitout for both sides either way, for the players that played in it anyways..

matt has robbo signed.? saw he played. thought he may be injured being the reason he played at chb was a couple of contests he could have made but didn,t make any attempt. is he happy there.? he didn't look interested at chb good move by spears to put him forward. when he went forward he dominated.

At this stage I don't think Robbo has re-signed, but has told Speers that he wants to play for Kilmore in 2008. My prediction is that he'll front up for the Blues.

Great to hear Scooter Rowsell fronting the media tonight to be interviwed on 100.7FM about the disappointment of last year and what 2008 may hold. You can call in on 54272040 if you have any questions for the great coach.

How far does the frequency go from Kyneton. When I was at Sacred Heart it was lucky to reach Woodend. That is of course, you are referring the the Kyneton radio station.

Re: R.d.f.l Thread 2008

Between 7 - 8.30. Finance to get RDFL legend and asistance coach of Sunbury Kanagroos is under way. So stay tuned for details of that one!!

Will do... Although I would do it for free... Oh you mean Mongrel... :D

Broadcast out of Woodend. Gisborne and Riddell should be fine Sunbury is a stretch.

Re: R.d.f.l Thread 2008

Yes IMS - Mongrel - who by the way suggested to me that we get the McInerney boys on as they have great heads for radio. Nice one Deano!!

Very very good point from Mongrel though... :D

Matt upset you recently BOG? That's the 3rd dig you've had at him this week.

Re: R.d.f.l Thread 2008

Matt upset you recently BOG? That's the 3rd dig you've had at him this week.

It actually dates back to April last year, when I foolishly predicted the Hawks to miss the finals. After they won the flag it was "up yours", now most of Woodend-Hesket Football Club thinks it is their right to talk down to me everytime they see me. Okay I got it wrong, but I never actually bagged Woodend-Hesket. Then it boiled up at the Hesket v Lancefield clash in cricket the other day when I was at Tylden offering some advice to the opposition from the sidelines. I also called BOG a dwarf from the boundary on Sunday as he was batting. All in good fun I thought.

As for the radio gig, I'm happy to go on if invited. Hopefully RDFL organises a video camera and we can do a 15-minute online segment each week to be played on the league's website. I'd love to see the McInerney's on there too. I'll stick up for the ugly blokes.

Re: R.d.f.l Thread 2008

its all in good fun, just taking a pot shot when the opening presents itself, nothinh in it at all, matt knows that being the journalist for the leauge he leaves himself open to some critisim and the ocassional comment, but it really means nothing.

but in all any coverage for the leauge would be good!
