I know Romsey, Lancefield, Wallan and Broadford's posts can come out of their holes. They would need to create new, temporary holes but its certainly possible. As for the rest of the clubs I have no idea. All they would need to do is write a letter to their local council after the footy season requesting they move them and I'm sure permission would be given.

Have you ever dealt with a council to ask for something?
I know our poles have been there for 20 years and everybody knows how hard Boardman gets, I'd hate to get the job to rip them out.

Im sorry Kings Army, Dylan Wright here...you must again have wrong information, making up bullshit, or I am a victim of forgery...grow up mate, this is a forum based on factual information (atleast its meant to be), not a bullshit thread for people with office jobs to start rumours

could that be possible?Someone posting incorrect info in this forum:eek::eek::eek:
might just be a wish list:D

Heard a rumour over the weekend, that involves the macedon fc, they have agreed to fly a player from the cairns footy leaugue each week, for the games and fly him back on monday mornings, as he dosent work til tuesdays.

Wasnt sure of the name of this player, but was told he is KEY position player, play both foward and back, must be on some good coin!

Is there any truth to rumour guys???

maybe he is just shopping himself around to the highest bidder??

last i heard on the grapevine that he was heading out trentham way for 300 bags of potatoes a game , maybe footytrip could shed some light on this topic as he seems to always be defending him, could put a end to all rumours ??
Yes im playing back home at macedon, i wasnt shopping myself around just just took a bit longer than usual to find where i was happy to play and my heart is in it at mac, so now we can all move on and yes i will be taking my beanie up to help keep my balding head warm lol :D

Where do you come up with these BOG. Who in this league has the coin to do anything like that?

Next Hird, Buckley, Carey, Gehrig will be joining the cattery.

Keep it real or at least believable.

Now you've hung up the magnet board there should be a lot more coin available down there :D

I saw on the Ballarat thread they are using the term "drivel". Do you get royalties from that HFF?

Don't forget Waters, he's still young and improving. Should be able to jump all over Cook at the centre bounces, and Wittmer isn't getting any younger either.

Big loss for Centrals with Brendan Chugg heading back to Werribee.

Knox has signed with the Hawks. He should be able to dominate in the ruck or at CHF in this league. Although the small, boggy shithole that is Gilbert Gordon should see him play FF most matches this year when on home turf, I mean mud.

Considering Victoria hasn't had decent rainfall in winter for over 10 years, it really saddens me to think of what Woodend-Hesket's ground might be with a bit more than a shower. They rarely play junior matches on it too.
Ahem, thought you were a "professional" journo pickles. Refering to our homeground as a shithole wont make u any friends down there mate, that kind of writing must be why your up there in journo wilderness. Keep it nice.

I don't work down that way anymore and to be honest, I'm sick of people sugarcoating Woodend's ground situation. The fact is that it's been shit for decades and the people down that way refuse to acknowledge it. There's clearly a spring under the field and when there's a sign of a shower it turns to a bog. Yes, it's lovely this time of the year with recycled water and baking sun. But come June when we've had a bit of rain you need 10-inch stops in your boots to move in the quagmire. This is not Woodend-Hesket Football Club's fault, but I think it would be in the Hawks' best interests to consider a long-term plan to shift football operations elsewhere. A big redevolopment of the land at the old racecourse could be what the doctor ordered.

Great day today in Wallan, all games were held in great spirit, and plenty of funds raised, in excess of $5000.
Well done to Wallan, Whittlesea, Sth Morang, Kinglake and Sunbury Football players and Netballers.
oh and the NFL and RDFL umpires :thumbsu:

hey half, thats the whole reason why i asked, it seems alot of money to spend on one player, isnt that reason why we have this forum, to sort fact from bullshit?
i was only going on what i heard, seemed a little fishy to me!
:)

Hey Half heard youve stirred a hornets nest at a club with a comment about a certain ground in the rdfl and then went into hiding.Did you have the authority from your club. or did you do this off your own back.Im lead to beleive (fact) it was you who made this comment which ground were you talking about ? and whats up with it

Congrats to the Sunbury Kangaroos who won the Bushfire appeal fundraiser. Looks like their in for a good year. The new full forward looks a good prospect. Sunbury did the RDFL proud knocking off Whittlesea who had plenty of numbers. Look forward to next year as this concept will grow, 11 a side is a good way to run players into fitness this time of year.

Forgot to mention the girls, no not the umpires who gave up their time and did a great job, the netballers who looked great and added to the success of the day. The Wallan netballers won the GF. Page 7 of todays Herald Sun has photo's and the RDFL get a good mention, pitty only two RDFL teams participated but will have more time next year to organize.

I have to be at every session... Its called COACHING...

Mr CUFFE will be fine.. He is training, and training well... :thumbsu:

BTW you also spelt Sporle incorrectly and Cuffe and Baddeley.. But its ok...

Good News to have your Bro back in the Kanga coulors this year from teh sounds of it , given the departure of James and Sutherland.

Hopefully it will be the case mate.. Would much prefer have him in the same side as I am involved with than not, and he is in good form, but at the moment he is still in discussions with several clubs, so it is far from set in concrete as yet... But fingers crossed he returns, no doubt... :thumbsu:

(FACT) I have been complaining since AFL Vic ruled there has to be min distance from fence to playing area. After a couple of incidents in games. Ask Sharpie next time you see him or Scotty now.

(FACT) RDFL had sent letters to ALL clubs asking them to fix this if grounds were in breach of this ruling.

(FACT) Doing junior development with RDFL so am definately not in hiding.

Gilbert Gordon was the ground, and I have been bitching about it since 2003 and I believe now it has been or soon will be rectified.

Was at the ground in 08 finals and recieved a very frosty reception but Gum, Wally and some of the older guys new the full story and didn't give a rats.

See you in round 1 come and have a chat I will be easy to find.

Haha.. I love that you are apparently in "hiding"... Everyone from the league knows who you are and you have been upfront with concerns about all of this for as long as I have known you...

Totally agree with you HFF on the fence issue just wanted to no what ground it was i would say there would be other grounds that would need attention as well if the league is serious they would inspect
