Yes we are asked to rate each club at the end of each match.

The 3 categories are players, coaches box and supporters

Each is rated 0 to 5

5- well diciplined, good behaviour.
3- some dicipline.
0- no dicipline.

Not 100% sure how the other levels are exactly worded but you get the idea

The rating of each club is a concensus between ALL umpires involved in that match, so field, boundary and goals all have a say in the ratings.

If a club scores 2 or less in any categoy we are asked to write a small explaination as part of the match day paper work.

Each club is informed of their results on the monday after the game.

I know individual umpires have no idea about what each club receives on any week of the year.

I don't think this is unique to our league either, I know from the couple of ammo's games i've done this season, they have a similar ratings system as part of their match day paper work aswell.

I don't really think it would be a good idea to be disclosing that mate. But in saying that I haven't had any real problems with any of the clubs I've umpired this year, and I've seen 8 of the 12.

This is deflection - the problem is not how close the umpire ran while escorting the players off what you should be looking at is the players problems with discipline and what they can do going forward to stay on the ground. 3 red cards and a player getting banned for life in a half of football reflects much more on the Rockbank football team than it does the umpires and how close they ran to a sent off player.

Dont think the 3 players were red carded only yellow carded, in saying that wasnt a Romsey (Green) yellowed carded as well for stick up for a Rockbank player after being sent off.

Anyone have an opinion on what might happen to Rockbank at tonight's meeting? I'm not sure where to stand on this one. I don't believe that the whole club should suffer because of the actions of one person, but on the other hand, all clubs are responsible for the actions of there players and officials during a game. I tell you what I would not want to be the one who makes that decision.

The senior group could get the ass in which case you would think the league would open clearances up for another week to give players the opportunity to go elsewhere.

On the other hand they could be dealt a hefty fine and put on a good behaviour bond.

I cant see rockbank being booted out of the league, i more fancy it will be a heavy fine and probably put on good behavior for a couple years, the fact that there were a few sent off on sat before the incident and the fact that this is the second problem with the club in as many weeks may go against them
 
Interleague Game

Was it my imagination but when the I/L game was announced it was to be against combined SFL 2nd divsion comp.

I was just reading the SFL thread, and I could be wrong, but they are talking about 1, 2 & 3rd divison players combined making up their squad.

If they did get booted, it would be interesting to see what clubs would take what players.

IF that were to happen i would imagine Luke Walker bein a wanted man, someone mentioned that a few players had already expressed intrest in leaving already which would be a shame for the club cos they need the players to stick by them after putting in so much hard work on improving this year

change of pace required as now bored talkin about this nut,,what has happened to wallan this year talkin it up and big expectations and now holding the ladder up ,who and what is the reason:confused::confused::confused::confused:
